  1. A relatively trivial point but - that's one helluva cost for stationary and postage.
  2. Well said, Frankie. There seems an online obsession with thinking in black and white; pro and anti. We've had it for years and years now with SDM, Whyte, Green, the two other Murrays, AJ, King etc etc. People seem to support an individual 100% and hate anyone viewed as opposed to said individual 100%. Then they build their "virtual identity" around who they support and who they oppose and stick to it in every discussion on every topic. Real life isn't like that. Other than myself I've never met anyone who is right all of the time ;-) There's more shades of grey in everyone than are in a bestseller's title. We should all support Rangers 100% not Whyte, Green, SDM, King or whomsover. It is not just posters but bloggers too - Leggo has probably supported them all at one time or another and its always 100% and everyone else is 100% a criminal. Now Bill is following suit. It's like being back in primary six.
  3. I think there is a mistake in the title. It was meant to read: "Desperation as Bill's brain overheats"
  4. For what it is worth, the following statement was in the Gherald this morning: " Given the firm raised £22m on its initial offering and says it still has much of that in the bank, it seems a big dip in fortunes, though boardroom upheaval is unlikely to have helped." I have not heard that said for quite some time, unless "much" is a very flexible term - but perhaps the reporter Greg Cameron knows what he is talking about. Then again, it is a Scottish paper
  5. ha ha ha, very good! :-) Apologies for not knowing your gender Mr. Forlanssister.
  6. Re paragraph one: Yes, that was what we were told (again, huge amount of salt needed when we are told anything) but there have been a lot of out of the ordinary payments since then too so to add to what was quoted as 7 million then you have payments to directors, for investigators and although the figure post those six months may not have been specified (I never saw it anyway) it was repeatedly said that we were still running at a loss every month. Re paragraph two: I can only concur. And with that am signing off for the night with a heavy heart again....although D'Artagnan fair gave me a glimmer of hope earlier for at least some justice
  7. Ah, I see - many thanks. "He", then, can hopefully answer Super Cooper as I know he can do it better than me.
  8. That's why I added the PS. It was promised not to be used for running costs, but that was just one of many promises. Empty words saying what we wanted to hear - add it to the very long list. Without the IPO we'd have gone back into administration. Forllanssister seems to have a a good insight into what is going on financially. Perhaps she (if "sister" indicates thusly) will see this and give you a better answer than I can. Basically my answer is in my PS above. We were spending a million a month more than we were earning - will be losing more now. The IPO was being used to cover this, I presume, (where else would the money come from?) as the amounts we are reported to have left can be explained by that and other deductions and personal payments.
  9. In his interview on STV, Green was extremely wary of saying how much was left and grabbed the chance to say "definitely double digits" like a drowning man grabbing at a straw. seemed obviously then we had 12 at the most (if you watch the interview you'll see what I mean) and probably less. A number of sources a month later put it at circa 10 and since then it has been quoted at less. All making sense if we were shipping a million a month when we had income coming in (unlike now). As to where it could have gone - your kidding, right? PS Just in case that sounds rude, I meant that added to the 7 million we were said to have lost between the IPO and season end on club running costs, we are by a number of crooks and asset strippers so I can't imagine they've taken nothing. Even without that, with no income at the moment, the losses will be piling up, plus investigation fees, pay-offs to people who have left/are leaving... I know he is a Scottish journalist and therefore unreliable but Keech Jackson clearly has sources inside Ibrox and I think he was saying we had 8 million left a couple of weeks ago (I stress "think" - my memory is not so good these days.)
  10. you are REALLY getting my hopes up now
  11. I think that time may well be past
  12. Yes, they should. However, Septic's control over the Scottish game, started under Reid's calculating reign, began by first undermining and then taking over the ruling bodies.
  13. I thought I read that they could not sell their shares until December. They can promise to sell them to someone before then - but as they both lie as a matter of course that's pretty meaningless. It'd have to be a watertight legally binding commitment before it could be treated as real. PS It was Green's shares I read about, I was presuming that Ahmad would be the same until I read further in this thread
  14. why on Earth have they turned on Chris Graham?
  15. Yep, but more must be subscribing as the paps keep going up. If you are bottom next season you get 65million plus a near 60 million safety net of parachute payments in the following years if you don't get back up.
  16. The interview with Elgin's Tatters is one of the few to spell things out and raise the important questions. Alas if was buried away in a brief appearance in the online Daily Star.
  17. it just shows how worked up I was at the time - other than the goals I can hardly remember the rest of this (couple of Goram saves aside). Even worse I think I was doing comms on IRC for it so I should have been sober....well soberish............ Some lovely passing from Thern. Amazing amount of missed chances.....
  18. He even goes so far as to deny it in yet another article that confirms it
  19. Legends win! 2-1 in the final. Hammer with a pen, then they equalised with a pen.................. Then Rae with the winner. Champions again, five years later (we won it in 2008) . Well done
  20. Two tournaments - both are under the "Hong Kong Soccer Sevens' " banner. One for youngsters, one for oldsters
  21. I will probably be out when the final is played, (sorry), but the official site is pretty quick in getting the reports out so those interested, can keep your eye on it. Here's the kids' semi final story: http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/4043-so-tough-for-kids I saw highlights of the first youngster's game on Rangers TV and will be checking that out later to see if they have anymore from later rounds. It's nice to be talking about/looking at us playing football.
  22. And now the legends have marched on to the final - a showdown with Ajax: http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/4042-top-class-gers-make-final?
  23. Well done the youngsters! 3-1 win over fancied Man City. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/4041-super-kids-stun-city? PS Later update. We lost in the semis to a powerful Newcastle side, 3-2
  24. Some of the language and grammar recently has not been Whyte-like. Getting a bit ratty as well as desperate today, reminiscent of the RTC's last days.
