A high corner when we are so outnumbered aerially seems a bit odd.....and leads to them tearing towards our goal. -

I had 21.24 left in a betting account so have put it all on us to win and both teams to score. -

Was just WhatsApped a photo of a minibus of Bears on their way to Hampden wearing surgical masks to protect their noses. Whatever could that mean ? -
Sounds like he'd be more at home elsewhere in Glasgow

Isn't there something in Zelalem's contract saying that if we draw the Timz in the Cup he's got to start? (Only joking, just a jest!!!!)
-
A big gamble with him not being match fit even if fit (which is a doubt and a risk in itself). I guess maybe so, though, given his little smile on TV today when questioned. I’d say we now have a much reduced chance of winning with Forrester out and that Warburton (yes, I love him overall) looks rather silly for not playing the cup tied folk – King and O’Halloran – v. Peterhead. We’ve no natural replacement for Harry so the whole team balance is out plus an already weak bench will be further weakened.

Do you mean you think he didn't say it?

Rangers: Walter Smith says sense of bitterness remains over past
SteveC replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Agreed, and it comes naturally to me anyway to do so! -
It's a great article but I foresee 55 being far from inevitable for the simple reason that the yahoos, sheep and many others would rather halt Scottish football forever than watch us clinch it.,............. ....and their fans, too. Riots, strikes, corruption, attacks on players and officials. I'd expect it all, leading to a football no-go zone if we were in a position to win.

They were sending-offs though, were they not? They certainly made the victory incredibly sweet.

Night all, enjoy the party

Hurting much, BBCeltland? "There are no signs that Dumbarton are going to spoil Rangers' title party. The part-timers have been pinned back in their own half for most of the match and, with some of their players having been working at their other jobs earlier today, they are bound to tire as the game nears the final whistle."

"all the cab drivers seem to be Celtic fans!" Something I've noticed in the last twenty years. I doubt it was like that back in the day when I lived in (a very different) Scotland. However, as I would not have taken cabs then, I can't be sure. I cannot recall the last cabbie I had in Glasgow who was not one of them. Does anyione know how far back this goes?

That second St boo goal certainly makes your feelings infectious, cooponthewing -
Facts, facts, facts. As one of them once said to me "you and your facts". Facts matter not a jot to them nor to the public at large. The story is that they are saints and we are sinners whatever the facts of the matter at hand.

He doesn't say it though. he says the Celtic players are more experienced and physically stronger and that Delia has had an OF game and Warbs hasn't. Doesn't say anything like the headline as per normal in that rag.

Learning from our mistakes: Rangers v Queen of the South
SteveC replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
One wonders what the goals lost total per team is in proportion to periods of pressure and chances for each. I think what frightens many of us is that we seem to concede so many goals through terrible (non) defensive play, sloppiness and errors in basic marking and positioning. We were told that MW concentrated on attack and relied on scoring more than the opponent. Admirable, of course, but not good for the nerves in three weeks as it surely only works when you are playing teams with approximately the same (or lower) level of experience and quality. (And, yes, I know the timz are no great shakes but there is a straightforward reason Souness fears an embarrassing scoreline.) Having said which, obviously I hope we blow them off the face of the planet with a blistering non-stop attacking display :-) -

Whose to say he won't be injured for the Cup game or sent off for not allowing Brown to punch him? In any case shipping six goals in two games v second tier opposition terrifies me before an OF game. Granted I haven't seen today's yet but all descriptions seem very damning.
