    I don't need a source, it was nationwide news at the time. Threads galore on all Rangers forums with fans in uproar about it. Coming to the end or not, it's proof no club can just get rid of players for nothing. We couldn't even sack Sandaza without a pay off and he was allegedly guilty of breach of contract according to Chuckles Green.

    Guess work Ryan. In football there are no guarantees. We may just have easily been lumbered with them and their £20 odd grand a week contracts putting us out of business for good. Release them? Just like that? These guys were under contract, huge contracts, contracts we couldn't even afford in the SPL. Releasing players costs money, like Goian, Boca, Mitchell, K Naismith and Argyriou etc etc cost us. Green played the game, made the players out to be the bad ones and fans fell for it and all along he got exactly what he wanted. The man is a snake.

    Never understood the hatred towards McGregor. It's clueless childish nonsense. In a sick way he and the rest done us a favour walking away. We would have been back in administration within days had guys like him stayed on. Fans call them traitors, i say they helped save us. I wish him nothing but the best and would welcome him back at Rangers any time.

    Do you think it is wise from a managerial point of view to sign a foreigner, never mind our first ever Brazilian, who doesn't speak English to play in Scotlands hardest(physically) and lowest league? McCoist hasn't just done it once either, he done it again with Peralta, a player he rarely uses and who has been absolutely shite, another one who doesn't speak English too. Frankly no matter who grants budgets or deals with finances, the actual transfers themselves come down to the manager and so far in 3 years Allys record has been disastrous. Of the almost 30 players he has signed in 3 years, how many have we went onto sell and made a profit on? Or rather,how many or what portion of players Ally has given contracts and new contracts to have we then chose to pay off actually costing us money? That's not down to Green and co.
