There is no doubt in my mind McInnes would have the tactical beating of McCoist every day of the week. I would love him at Ibrox. In saying that there is not a club left in this competition which can rival the resources or level of player we have. There are and will be no excuses. -
It probably will be more than that mate, i was being generous. I would think their highest paid player would be on £2/3k tops given their serious financial hardship which makes the job Del is doing all the more remarkable. The fact is our squad and team are so much stronger than all the rest, there are no excuses now not to win this cup.

Arsenal far stronger in midfield. SaS could be the difference though. I think i saw a stat Arsenal have never lost with Koscielny and Mertesacker playing together as as a partnership.

All that plus organisation. So many times we have looked so disorganised on the park. Players lost, the team all over the place. Organisation is so vital.

Whilst i agree, it's not really fair on the 36000 season ticket holders who deserve that good attitude and 100% effort every week in our bread and butter domestic league. Surely it is upto the manger and coaches to make sure our lads are motivated every time they pull on our jersey, otherwise, why bother. Seems these days the attitude of so many *fans is mirrored in our style and standard of play, we just can't be bothered. We need a lift, everyone does. A good win against a good SPL side could give us that. Next summer can't come quick enough! *The 10000-15000 who are not going to home matches anymore.

Man for man we are easily the 2nd best team in Scotland, it's proving it our players may find hard for some reason though the Scottish Cup does give us an excellent platform to do just that.

Murray made a huge mistake not matching or exceeding Parkheads capacity back in the 90's. It was always going to hold us back in the future. This is just one tiny example of them having an upper hand on us. Financially we cannot compete with them either. Near 60000 crowds in Europe every year have helped them become Scotlands biggest football business and a decade long of near capacity attendances(up until a few years ago) have sewn the seeds of their upper hand. I don't ever see is competing with them financially until we increase Ibrox capacity, whether we need it or not. All the big clubs around the world when building their new grounds are going for 60k plus, not 50k, those days are past, football has moved and we need to move with it. It's ambitious and costly of course but will be there forever, the long term effects would be well worth it. Granted right now is not the time.

We knew the players were capable of it but they have been playing well within themselves so far this season and have been hindered almost by ancient tactics and poor team selections. We are far better than we have been showing recently.

Second strongest squad in Scotland with huge resources, we should be second favourites. It's up to the manager and players to do their jobs properly and prove they deserve the big bucks they earn here. Rab, i hear what you are saying but are currently spending over £2m per year just on defenders and you are worried about coming up against the dross of the SPFL. Why are we paying these guys so much if they are not worth it?

That is a huge statement. Do you have anything to back this up? Sceptics would call it scaremongering mate. I am genuinely interested in hearing evidence. If you can prove that i will be sending back a blank renewals form with a letter of complaint.
