    I am sure there was more in the Brechin line up, the first match of the season. Around the same actually, 7 internationals and 14 of the 15 man squad all members of oldco Rangers squads.

    I would say it's more his professionalism and never say die attitude Darth. I'm still crying out for pace, our team is horrendously slow and one paced. There is no doubt Jigs best days are well behind him, this year should be his very last. Hopefully Barry gives him a job at Clyde next summer!

    Good strikers can get away with not having pace, especially those who are good with their head. Gomez, Toni, Klose, Carroll etc etc

    I would have went further and allowed Gallagher and Halkett to be our partnership through the leagues. They are outrageously brilliant together. I haven't seen a partnership compliment each other so well since McCoist and Hateley! Granted i have only seen very little of it but what i did impressed me. Of course as you rightly point out though Jig would have been fine. I think Ally panicked after the disaster of the bottom tier and wanted experience and someone he could trust at the back hence why Jig was shoehorned in there. Jig and Little would have been more than sufficient to get us to where we are now and we could have saved a fortune on Dalys salary, even Clarks if we had the brains and balls to promote a few kids as back up. Jig at the back terrifies me. It just looks so wrong on so many levels. Last year he was showing signs of being out his depth there but due to the lack of real opposition we got away with it but again as you rightly say, next season and thereafter he will be found out big time, as will Mohsni incidentally.

    I agree to an extent. Dreadful is probably hyperbole but it's the way i post, that's my style if you like. It's my way of putting my pov across, i am sure most folk know what i mean, that i simply don't rate the kid. If it was up to me i would have binned both though i do agree Little would probably offer more than Daly in terms of contribution, fitness, effort even.

    Realistically Andy may well be but i have my doubts, it's my opinion he is dreadful and very lucky to earn a living in the game, as are many players. He was never going to be good enough for us long term. As for scoring goals in the top tier, many poor players have.

    Bain didn't commence his job as CEO until after wee Dick left mate, i believe Murray done all the private jet negotiating. Bain was in the background within the commercial department when Advocaat was there. Bain certainly picked up many bad habits and mistakes from Murray bud sadly never had the brains to do things different when it was he calling the shots.

    Andy Little is nothing more than an athletic pub team player. He found his level in the bottom tier.

    Hibs don't have any players left mate, they released a squad full a few weeks back. Hearts have signed a Turkish Under 21 international, still have Danny Wilson, Paterson, Walker etc etc and have also signed Morgaro Gomis and Neil Alexander! Hearts will have a very good team, it will just depend how Neilson shapes up as a tactician and manager.

    Of course it does but no one cares enough to do anything about it. And i mean no one with enough or indeed any power to make a difference. They got away with it.

    I wasn't a fan of Advocaat at all. Our capitulation at Parkhead with Scott Wilson at the heart of our defence after spending so much money was humiliating. O'Neill had his number somewhat.
