This was a very unusual match. We were not very good but even so I thought we were better than a two goal loss. Leading up to the penalty kicks I was feeling quite confident. I think we had about six or seven decent penalty takers on the pitch. Butland did better than expected with one very good save. Dessers continues to infuriate me. During the first half the opposition goalkeeper was about forty yards out with the ball at his feet. Rather than chase him Dessers decided to claim for handball. Two or three minutes later and he had talked himself into a booking. I hope some mugs are watching and want to buy him in the summer.
