    He's not good enough but he's better than Daly. Being the main striker for the past two seasons, played in his correct position might have made a player out of him.

    Of course Advocaat has to take plenty blame. He spent almost £5m on Konterman and who knows what wages he was on. We also wasted loads of cash on the likes of Prodan, Guivarch, Kanchelskis, Flo, Ball etc. That's not to say I wasn't a big fan of Advocaat. He has to take huge credit for the brand of football he had us playing.

    We the club will not save ourselves, that much is clear. We were bordering on instinction and were incapable of formulating a plan to save ourselves. People say we have a terrific fan base, I completely disagree.

    We still spend far more than anyone in Scotland out with Celtic. Who did we have in 04/05 that cost huge amounts of money? Most of the foreigners were bosmans or signed on low fees. Granted some were on high wages but we also had the likes of Novo and Andrews on low wages who made invaluable contributions. The nationality is entirely irrelevant, what matters is skill, performance, tactics, organisation etc. Given how poor Scottish players are, we are best focusing elsewhere and also trying to develop our own talent.

    Completely agree. Souness talks about getting Walter involved. In what capacity? I don't see what he has to offer.

    I don't see any problem with Neymar's pen, often a stuttered run up doesn't work. Was it Nadal in Euro 96 who did similar and scuffed it? Random bit of trivia - Mauricio Pinilla who hit the bar at the end and then missed a pen used to play for Hearts. PS - I went with 1-1 in my other prediction league, but 2-1 in this one. I'm top of the other one I'm doing and probably going to finish bottom of this 1 .

    98/99 and 99/00 too. Most of the team in 04/05 was foreign as well.
