  1. I’ve aged a couple of years in the last 45 mins.
  2. This has the potential to go completely tits up. Needs to change at HT. They’re getting down our left side at will. 441 with Lafferty up front?
  3. Should’ve been well clear going into the second leg. Just need to sharpen up in the final third. But a lot to be reasonably happy with. Jack and Ejaria had good games and defence solid. And Middleton and Lafferty had decent cameos too.
  4. There’s not a huge amount happening to be honest. Ufa trying to slow game down and a lot of petty fouls. Hard to get anything going. RTV buffering like buggery too
  5. is he really 32? God, where does the time go?!? I suppose he offers something different but is he mobile or hard working enough for this team?
  6. His value is determined by what others are willing to pay and his value to us. Like several others, he’s been touted around clubs all summer and this is what’s on offer. We’re not exactly beating away suitors with a shitty stick and he’s clearly surplus to requirements. I’m pleased we’ve got anything at all.
  7. Looks a good acquisition with sell-on potential. What we doing with Flanagan?
  8. Audio click bait, best ignored. Big enough club to form the basis for his radio show, suggesting even he doesn’t believe the shit he’s spouting.
  9. Had a dial liked a skelped erse this season, after being one of their stand-outs the previous one.
  10. It's probably a "rising to £7m" if Southampton qualify for Europe, win the Cup, the bold Stuart wins the golden boot, etc etc. He's a decent player for them so quite happy to see him feck off elsewhere.
  11. Be great if they'd take a job lot including the others who are surplus to requirements.
  12. Had a pint with an old school friend last weekend who has a Brighton season ticket. He said 'you can't have him. we need him'. Big, brave, honest stopper, though better on the ball than that makes him sound, good in the air and not slow. And seems a good bloke too. He's hardly the next Baresi but does everything you want a centre back to do pretty well.
  13. Saw plenty of him for Brighton and very pleased to get him. Really decent player.
  14. heard of him? a) Yep, he’s shite b) Nope, so he must be shite
  15. I'd be very pleased to get him for that. He's in demand. Seems we're trying to get this tied up early before anyone else moves for him. Had a pint with an old school friend who's a Brighton season ticket holder and he said "you can't have him. we need to keep him".
  16. I don’t think Brighton will hold him to ransom as he’s been a good servant but can’t see us winning a bidding war for him
  17. He’s decent: does everything a centre back needs to pretty well. Hughton rates him and has even tried three at the back to accommodate him alongside Dunk and Duffy who were both immense this season. I strongly doubt we’ll be the only bidder for Goldson though.
  18. Hughton likes Goldson and I doubt he’s going anywhere unless they get cover. But everyone knows he wants to play more and he’ll struggle to dislodge Dunk and Murphy in Brighton’s defence. In what is is my first and probably last ever ITK post, Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn was mentioned to me as a possible loan. Might go nowhere, of course but I believe the interest is genuine
  19. It’s free content put together by blokes in their spare time so a bit of perspective required. But it’s usually very enjoyable. Personally, I like that it’s just them giving their views rather than pretending to disagree to set up a staged argument. Almost always disagree with anything Cameron Bell says, mind. The patreon subscription is farcically good value. gersnet one has made a good start too.
  20. That’s where the DoF justifies his wage. But, if they’re not, we can get a keeper in a couple of seasons.
  21. Rather sell if he doesn’t want to be here, which is certainly the impression he’s given
  22. The impression given is that Shagger’s filling in for a couple of seasons until Kelly and McCrorie are ready for the first team. Proper succession planning!
