A quite easy way to judge a player is to view the fans forum of the club he's just left....I find that better than any statistics. Tavernier....gutted. Waghorn...disappointed. Halliday....disappointed. Kiernan....disappointed. Holt...so so...Heart's were gutted though. Foderingham...gutted. Same with us....McLeod....we were gutted. Little, less so. Even now, St Mirren fans are gaining hope on their own forum cause some of us are doubting selling Gallacher.

I was wondering as well lol. Love Jose but Warbs is a mile away from his ethos. Almost the complete opposite actually in football tactics. The beauty of the game is that both approaches can work. Their one similarity though is that both can create a fervent loyalty amongst their players.

Er...I'm quoting their entire fanbase as he was their POTY. Remember Andy Goram throwing one in his first game and looking a nervous wreck his first few games...he went on to do not bad I think. I've watched every Brentford game available to me since WB arrived and you know what? I'd hate to be his keeper in a game - it's all about attack - there's going to a lack of defense at the back and yet, he wants the ball played to feet. It's a tough ask for any keeper but I think he did well yesterday and I've no idea what you're expecting, given the system save Neuer himself. The guy's a proven good keeper who's old club were desperate to keep - that says enough for me. Put Stefan Klos in that sweeper keeper style and he'd be dreadful....we're an attacking outfit now. I think Wes will do just fine but anyone who's watched Brentford would be a fool to judge a goalkeeper on his clean sheets.

He's being asked to play a sweeper keeper style he's not used to - of course it will take time! He commands his box and takes crosses FAR better than the likes of Bell - give him a chance. He was his club's player of the year last season, he's won England youth caps. How you can say he is poor is beyond me but please educate me. I'm willing to listen and debate.

I think Craig did a good job - English was on the defensive throughout. Wilson spoke a lot of sense, can't see him being at the Beeb much longer given how much sense he spoke, he even questioned editorial decisions. It was a small win, no doubt.
