  1. Can we get one thing straight? The song nor singing of it is NOT banned. It never has been. Anyone (wrongly) disagreeing can show me where it was banned. The Billy Boys is our anthem and a great one. It is NOT banned.
  2. Please refrain from posting such video's or remarks over other Rangers sites.
  3. I have faith good triumphs over evil I have faith in Rangers over Celtic I have faith in Rangers I have faith in Warburton I don't need faith to know he told the assembled press to "fuck off, you're wrong" in the nicest possible way. I have faith he'll be with us long-term and... Forget faith....I KNOW these mhanky bhastards want to undermine the Warburton regime. They tried....he's too clever for them. The Magic Hat lives on.
  4. McCoist salary - the facts. 1st June 2011 - Ally McCoist officially becomes Rangers manager on a salary of £750,000 p.a. Neil Lennon by comparison is earning £800,000 p.a at Celtic. 13th Feb 2012 - 28th July: McCoist receives zero salary voluntarily with Rangers in admin. Contrary to myths this is never repaid. He does however regain full salary and buys circa 1,000,000 shares for 1p each costing around £10,000 in a new share issue. These shares are now worth around £300,000, making him a considerable profit. Season 12/13 - McCoist agrees with Charles Green to voluntarily reduce his wage to circa £400,000 p.a. His official contract remains however on a rolling 1 year term, still at £750K p.a Season 13/14 - McCoist agrees to an increased amount of £450,000 p.a. His official contract is still £750,000 p.a Season 14/15 - McCoist remains on same terms until 11th December when he resigns and invokes a legal clause to regain his full salary of £750,000 p.a for a calendar year. Season 15/16 - McCoist agrees mutual termination on 10th September with 3 months left of his rolling contract.
  5. I like positvity. We have both. For now. Different players, different positions. But who so far, is better to you and why?
  6. I'm not old enough to have seen Jardine the player, D'Art. I was only able to see him as a director and as a man. In the darkest days of our club, he stood tall. He eptitomised our values of dignity and resiliance and refused to give in against the cabal who did and do despise us. More than that, when seriously ill, he led and encouraged others to support our club and rally against those opposed to us. I regret never seeing Jardine the player. I'm forever grateful though, I got to see the man. I am thankful, I get to see his name emblazoned on one of our fine stands every time I watch the Gers to remind myself what he was and what he stood for. He'll never be forgotten.
  7. TBH I think RangersTV and the whole media side of the club have been excellent this season. I don't use tablets or phones to be fair I simply use my trusty old pc and I've found their service to be top notch. Flash might be old but it's a solid media platform - do Iphones really not play flash media? I'm sure they do. Youtube is simply a flash variant after all. The Beeb still use flash. I'm certain Iphones are compatible. So credit where credit is due....the service is much better and as to today....Marv,,,he's the best co-commentator we've had... It's like having Bob Marley in a Gers shirt giving insights....brilliant! More Marv please RTV.
  8. I've found it strange actually getting any.
  9. Well elfideldo, if anyone knows the score it's you. I really appreciate your youth updates. Sinclair was a joke. Now he's a bitter joke. Onwards and upwards.
  10. Then maybe they've been right up to now. McMullan for St Mirren gave us problems....on loan from them. Who is the last truly skillful player we've produced? (save McKay)
  11. Follow Follow is a good song, when it breaks into the Billy Boys......that's a great song.
  12. Saints are my local team. I've watched both in 2 games each this season. Rangers are a faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better side.
  13. Have to say, I've always been a fan of Mc'Kay. He's the sort of player Celtic have been producing for years but we never have.....a guy that will just run at people with a fair bit of skill and cocky attitude. I'm glad he's back, I'm glad Warburton sees something in him. He's a great wee player with a lot to offer if given the chance.
  14. I'll do every preview you don't have a name for but I need 3 days notice. You can put me in for one and see my work
  15. I don't think Warburton was ever going to play him much...he needs defenders with ball skills to play his system. He also likes developing youngsters...30 yrs old was a no go for him. Shows a greater respect to let him go.
  16. Hmm... Out: Kris Boyd, forward (Kilmarnock); Lee McCulloch, defender (Kilmarnock); Steven Smith, defender (Kilmarnock); Bilel Mohsni, defender (Angers); Richard Foster, defender (Ross County); Calum Gallagher, forward (St Mirren); Kyle Hutton, midfielder (Queen of the South); Jamie Burrows, forward (Yeovil Town); Greg Pascazio, defender (Montrose); Ian Black, midfielder; Jon Daly, forward; Steve Simonsen, goalkeeper; Sebastien Faure, defender; Lee Robinson, goalkeeper; Lewis McMinn, goalkeeper; Kristian Gibson, defender; Junior Ogen, forward; Scot Whiteside, defender. Loan: Ryan Sinnamon, defender (Falkirk); Luca Gasparotto, defender (Greenock Morton); Darren Ramsay, defender (Arbroath). Loan ended: Haris Vuckic, midfielder (Newcastle United); Shane Ferguson, midfielder (Newcastle United); Gael Bigirimana, midfielder (Newcastle United); Kevin Mbabu, defender (Newcastle United); Remie Streete, defender (Newcastle United). In: Mark Warburton, manager (Brentford); David Weir, assistant manager (Brentford); James Tavernier, defender (Wigan Athletic, undisclosed); Martyn Waghorn, forward (Wigan Athletic, undisclosed); Rob Kiernan, defender (Wigan Athletic, undisclosed); Jason Holt, midfielder (Hearts, compensation); Danny Wilson, defender (Hearts); Andy Halliday, midfielder (Bradford City); Wes Foderingham, goalkeeper (Swindon Town); Jordan Thompson, midfielder (Manchester United). Loan: Nathan Oduwa, forward (Tottenham Hotspur); Dominic Ball, defender (Tottenham Hotspur). Depends on the % we were paying the Newcastle guys wages which is still to come out. Ashley still has nondisclosure on that sadly. Also the % we are paying Arsenal and Spurs. Based on what info there is and FM (laugh but they try to source it too)...I'd think we are paying less this season by a fair bit. Waghorn's Wigan wage was less than Boyd for example and Jig cost more than Tavernier's and Kiernan's Wigan wage combined. Holt and Halliday were on relative peanuts. Credit to Warburton...not only has he signed players cheaply on transfer fees but none were earning much in wages either. That's the "value" and "youth" he keeps talking about.
  17. Decent honest pro...good luck to him. Great stopper and last ditch tackler. Warburton has obviously seen he has zero skills with the ball at his feet. No time for sentiment these days.
  18. It's not rocket science. Miller looks better as our midfield now keeps possession and creates chances....he can now play as a forward rather than the midfielder he constantly became last season. Law looks better as he's a creative player, he lacks in the defensive area. As we are going forward more he can play his true game. Wallace looks better as he's a wing-back, not a full-back and has a team that can back up this style and allows him to play his natural game. Have they got better or are merely being allowed to play their natural games? Hmm. Put it this way. Many lauded Murdoch to the skies last season (not me) as he ran around everywhere trying to win the ball back. This season, he can't get a game. Perhaps, we're simply playing our players to their strengths. Ergo they play better and look better. Right now we don't need Murdoch trying to win the ball back....we've got it 70% of the time.
  19. He's a class act. He's also intelligent, humble, astute, determined, creative, fearless and progressive. The sheer grudging respect he gets from 'other' fans I talk to already, shows he's a winner. Let's enjoy him whilst we can as I've no doubt he'll be in huge demand soon.
  20. I love it. Absolutely luvvvvvvv it. The fear is back. The moaning is back. When the best they can throw at us is that we're "showing off", I know we're getting back to our rightful place.
