  1. There appear to be different views on it within the game. When at Rangers, David Templeton wasn't played when the team played on an artificial surface but his next club was Hamilton Academicals.
  2. We have 2 vital games on plastic in 5 days (Kilmarnock and Livingston). Fingers crossed on the injury front.
  3. .........but the positive is
  4. Aslong as Alfredo is on the same page as SG, fine ! A couple of goals at Rugby Park tomorrow would help
  5. Could do without the Morelos bids at such an important juncture. We need him to focus on his football.

    HJK Helsinki

Simplistic argument but if you are going to play a certain style, isn't it better to be finding ways of making it work against agricultural tactics from the get-go ?
  7. The Arfield finish looks fairly simple but is top class. The Finnish goalie and defenders played the tight possession game very well up until it cost them the 3rd goal and the match. Moral of the story being is that it will always be a high risk strategy unless you have top quality players.
  8. Such a heinous crime,..... bring back capital punishment and that'll stop 'em !
  9. Good to hear 55 being the number that came to the manager when describing Borna's reaction
  10. Rusty but no big deal. Most top flight sides playing in Cup yesterday were the same. Wouldn't read much into today, it was about getting minutes. Barisic, fingers crossed but the lad seems to be made of glass. He's a real player and we could really do with a full 5 months from him for the rest of the season. Football really starts again on Wednesday, that'll be the time we'll get a better idea of how we're shaping up.
  11. Looks like 45 minutes for everyone. Score don't matter just don't get injured.

  13. An old school Cup shock that brings back the memories of ..........
  14. If the often clickbait bullsh*t tabloids were posters on Gersnet they'd be at best ridiculed and possibly banned for repeat BS.
  15. Haven't a scooby what we are paying Defoe but given the media seem to have oscillated between 85K and now a 130K regards his wage at Bournemouth, I'd take anything they said with a mountain of salt. The fact that Bournemouth have two recall options during the 18 month loan doesn't seem to align with this latest rumour. Had we had 65K a week to spend on a weekly wage, I'm fairly sure SG&Co would have got more for the money.
  16. If the surface is as uneven as it appears, yes ............#ankle ligaments Maybe it's not as bad as it appears from the pic...only going on that.
  17. That pic suggests that the right decision was taken. Surface looks uneven and an obvious risk of a serious injury.
  18. Disagree, in your scenario he hasn't done enough yet. The positive is that SG&Co have seen enough to give him another year. Ball is in his court, ...I hope he can take the opportunity.
  19. I can think of one born in Walsall who would call it a 'potential hit'
  20. He will be 22 in March so he really needs to kick-on and show he can do the business consistently at this level if he hopes to be part of our plans going forward. It might be that he scores a few and we move him on in the summer anyway,... but the years extension would mean we could get a transfer fee.
  21. Gerrard leaves the door open and it's up to the lad to get into the Livingston starting XI and score goals. I hope there is a clause that awards a winner at the Brendenbeu with an extra year !!
  22. If it is postponed at least we have the HJK friendly tomorrow for what would be a strong team in front of a bigger crowd. In case of postponment, the midweek of 29/30th of January looks like the only available slot.
