  1. Is this not just designed to get a better deal when negotiations start with Queen's Park? Seems like a nothing story to me.
  2. "It was a sweet match for me to play in. I'm a proud Celtic fan and always will be. But Rangers were the team to come in for me and I enjoyed my time there. That's just how football works...." Ross McCormack
  3. Perhaps I was a tad strong. Mutually beneficial is probably a more accurate description. I disagree about him being in a difficult position with regard to his role. He will still hold a lot of goodwill within the general support, even accounting for the poor standard of football, and sacking him would lead to greater unrest. Both he and the suits know that is the case.
  4. That accounts for one of the seats on the soon to be Fan Board.
  5. The more he says, the easier it is to imagine that he has actually thrown himself into the ring with the board(s).
  6. They're not even trying to hide it now. You couldn't mark their necks with a blowtorch.
  7. He's had more than one and a half good season's. He earned his move to Liverpool on the back of a stunning spell with Ajax. His goalscoring record for Uruguay will compare favourably to many of the top strikers currently playing. EPL - Don't believe the hype.
  8. The rest of the world has moved on from those days, so spending £50m+ to be top dogs in a tinpot country is sheer folly. You will need to fund it yourself because no businessman will be pissing away that sort of cash.
  9. Forgive me, I thought that you had previously stated that you wouldn't be back until McCoist was gone. Again, apologies.
  10. Why is there an emphasis on service contracts in the report? Have they used some legal loophole to keep them secret?
  11. "Blue-Chip companies".... You didn't see that one coming, Frankie. Also, it shouldn't be forgotten that he was being well rewarded for his time.
  12. The guy you refer to in such glowing terms has been shown up to be an agenda-driven liar by.....wait for it....none other than the bold Teresa who he claimed was ready to batter those Sons Of Struth/Union Of Fuds troublemakers. It turns out that the interruptions actually came from another table. Respect.
  13. Exactly, mate, they are so far out of touch with what is going on. A generalisation, I know, but having their annual soiree go off without a hitch appears to be what matters most to them.
  14. They have threatened to walk out on at least two occasions over bonus payments. Nothing to do with that gun attack.
  15. Is that Iain Boyle speaking in an official capacity? What has Graham Wallace done to earn any respect?
