  1. McCoist is a major part of the problem not the solution, unfortunately he appears to put himself before the club. Our opponents last night were better in every department and crucially they looked a lot fitter than us, they looked the full-timers and us the part-timers, there running for the entire game and us desperately trying to hang on in the final minutes said it all.
  2. I treat the offerings of that particular poster with the gravitas I feel they merit.
  3. Since all are agreed that transparency and interaction with one's customers is the way forward, perhaps someone can tell us, how much if any direct monies the club have received from sales of merchandise not within the remit of the club or the Retail arm..
  4. I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, since the subject at hand relates to retail.
  5. I am neither confused nor confusing, the mythical £2.72 million quoted by rhabid press organs is covered by one word, unaudited, and the figure appears in no official accounts or reports, whereas the figure of £1,669,000 appears in official documentation as Interims till Dec 2013.
  6. The figure of £2.72 million is a figure plucked from thin air, which is why I used it twice hoping someone would challenge and correct it. The correct figure from the Interims till Dec 2013 is, Included within cash balances is £1,669,000 relating to Rangers Retail Limited, which is not immediately available as working capital to the Group as a whole., it makes one wonder what else has been misinterpreted.
  7. The figure of £2.7 million allegedly being unavailable has been common knowledge for some considerable time and needs no scaling up for two years, however the figures scaled up have been arrived at makes them no less of a nonsense. The fans groups who hold shares will be aware that they can have their legal representatives request sight of Ashley's contracts with the club, why don't they do that rather than indulge in pointless and absurd speculation.
  8. So if we allegedly receive 75p in every £10 and we have £2.7 million sitting in an account controlled by Ashley, it would make retail sales figures of over £32 million, someone should consult there Abacus urgently or doctor.
  9. Do I think Lord Hodge really cares, I think he cares that he administers the law in the spirit of which it is intended, I doubt he sits on the Bench and goes with what he wants, I am quite sure he lays down that which is subscribed by statute, rather than foolishly do as he wants which would render his judgement flawed and challengeable.
  10. Duff & Phelps are an interesting conundrum, as we know Lord Hodge last year cleared the administrators and the company of any conflict, however the incompetence of investigating authorities has no end as years of failed cases are testament to. I do wonder what Lord Hodge makes of his judgement as passed being questioned.
  11. I must be missing something, the abject nonsense of the statement perhaps. "He is accused of funding his Ibrox takeover by selling off season tickets and pretending to then owner Sir David Murray the cash was his own". Perhaps one of the main reasons it is unlikely a trial will take place, Murray.
  12. I am sure you know BH that Daniel Stewart announced to the LSE that it was relinquishing its Nomad licence, not lost it as claimed and its other business is still trading as normal. Rangers are no more than a victim of circumstances beyond our control in this instance.
  13. The contracts should be challengeable under Void, voidable, illegal and unenforceable contracts in Scots law, that is of course once the details are available for perusal. RFFF could take the challenge up under their published goals of defending the club, if there is any challenge to be mounted under law.
  14. “They have appointed a completely pointless fan board". A cogent point by CG.
  15. Club Statement: Daily Telegraph St. James' Park Caught lying again (The Telegraph) Newcastle United feels it has been left with no alternative but to respond to a report published by The Telegraph yesterday, headlined 'Newcastle and Rangers will not be able to play in Europe together next season because of Mike Ashley. Exclusive: Mike Ashley's seizure of power at Ibrox means Newcastle may never play in Europe again while he remains club owner.' The article stated that 'Uefa have confirmed Newcastle United and Rangers will not be allowed to play in Europe together, even if they qualify for different competitions, because of Mike Ashley's involvement in the running of both clubs.' When contacted by the Club today, UEFA confirmed in writing as follows: "UEFA has not made any statement on specific clubs. "With regard to your query, we kindly refer you to Article 3 of our competition regulations (Integrity of the competition) related among other to multi-ownership. "We do not have any further comment to make on this." The Club issued a statement on 12th September, 2014, confirming it had banned Luke Edwards and all reporters working for, or on behalf of, the Daily Telegraph with immediate effect following reports published in its paper which were wholly inaccurate and written with the intention of unsettling the Club, players and its supporters. Yesterday's article is another example of the same journalist and title printing factually inaccurate reports that are potentially disruptive and are damaging to the Club. The Club will make no further comment on this issue. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20141129/club-statement-daily-telegraph_2281670_4335737
  16. I have very high standards for Rangers, I am a David Holmes man through and through, I doubt we will ever see his calibre at Ibrox again.
  17. If evidence is available and published there is nothing to defend, since when has the most vitriolic Rangers hating organ become the Torah, the expectation of evidence to facilitate statements claimed to be fact is an every day request not restricted to football forums, but however a distinct stranger in the Rangers hating press. After the record allowed the comments they have about Rangers, I wouldn't believe the date on the paper unless confirmed by documented evidence.
  18. If the record have it, why not publish it in full with headers, would settle the matter once and for all if they really do have anything.
  19. Dave King spoke of administration over four years ago, hardly an endorsement of the clubs financial policies. http://ow.ly/EFDFH
  20. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure WS said the bank were running the club, do banks step in to run businesses that are being run prudently and are on a sound financial footing.
  21. Even now Smith doesn't seem to realise he was spending money we didn't have, another who will hear nothing said against Murray. “I was fortunate enough to be given great support by the likes of David Murray with the signings I was allowed to make".
  22. Good to see that many are questioning this so called article, a mish mash from times gone by, the quotes are lifted from the King article of two years ago. A press beside itself with the knowledge that they were complicit in facilitating the agendas of the clubs enemies, they see the inevitability of their role being exposed, their futile attempts to further delay the just outcome of all the club has been subjected to is coming home to roost with our denigrators, all of them.
  23. Do we have any idea why the Herald is recycling a story from two years ago as news, it was previously King's threat to sue Murray for £20 million and was widely reported.
