  1. Neil Lennon is to part company with Celtic after four years as manager following talks about his future. It is understood that the former club captain had been considering his position for some time despite securing a third straight Scottish title. He has been concerned about this playing budget for next season. The 42-year-old Northern Irishman took charge of the Glasgow club in 2010, leading them to three league titles and two Scottish Cups. Lennon, who also previously led Celtic to Champions League last 16, is believed to have been concerned that his present side would be able to negotiate three rounds of qualifying next season.
  2. I agree with that. Doing it once was an adventure at first but it would break my heart to see us going to the likes of Annan and Montrose again
  3. Couldn't happen to a better fellow
  4. Probably my favourite one would be the above, but beating Hearts 5-1 in the Laudrup final was a tremendous day too and my first one I was actually at was when we beat Airdrie in 1992(I think). Wee laddie back then!
  5. Totally agree. I was on holiday when I heard we had sold him to Southampton. Not amused was putting it lightly!
  6. Not many is the short answer!
  7. So did I. We were 3-1 up in the shootout - next thing I knew it was 3-3
  8. Penalties about to be taken. Mon the wee Gers
  9. Yeah they would have. That says more about the rest than Hearts!
  10. Cowdenbeath could be in a higher league than them still next season. Big game there on Wednesday night. My mate is the groundsman at Cowdebeath
  11. Yeah I stay in Edinburgh mate and thats what the Jambos are saying that Boyd is going to them and Boyd wont sign for us because him and McCoist dont get on. We shall see......
  12. Even with Levein there?! Letting Andy Little go is madness in my opinion. Can see him ending up in the SPL
  13. Some Jambos I know are not at all happy with this. I find it rather amusing myself
  14. I said that earlier in the thread but it seems to have got missed!
  15. Gribz - this is bad I'm agreeing with you again . I'm normally a Barca man as far as Spanish football goes but I wouldn't mind seeing Atletico win it. Definitely hope they beat Real in the Champions League
  16. With you 100% Gribz mate. Cant stand Levein. Remember him moaning a few years back when we beat Dundee Utd at Ibrox, basically accused us of cheating!
  17. Very harsh on Locke! 4-6-0 at Ibrox for the Jambos then is it!
  18. God I remember my early days on here when we used to have about 100 pages on threads about Boydy and Barry Remember those days that was when we actually spoke about football and tactics rather than CEO's and boardroom battles
  19. Looks like we'll be heading to Easter Road next season at this rate. Can see either Hamilton or Falkirk beating them over two legs
  20. Most exciting league next season is definitely going to be the Championship. The play offs should have been introduced years ago
  21. I would agree has to be Pulis for me. Unbelievable job. Sunderland have had a really good run but as Gribz says they were shocking for spells during the season.
  22. Ha ha that man is a grade A tit
