match thread (image) [FT] Hearts 1 - 2 Rangers (Goldson 34; Morelos 41)

I like to think I played my part: at 1-0 I turned it off, then we scored 2. Of course, I then didn't turn it back on again. #Superstition -

How long to go, folks? It's running down the inside of my legs... -
The kid's doing very well, it seems. It may be the bottom end of the Championship, but I'm delighted to see an 18 year-old playing and scoring regularly.

I had completely forgot about Murphy until I saw this on Twitter. He'd be good to have back, for more options out wide.

I know it's the Championship, but I'd make a move for Shankland. He's scoring for fun.

I never said he was wrong, but it's just given them an unnecessary boost.

'Spectacular' Rangers atmosphere hailed by Spanish press

Have they just used Google Translate? -
That's the Hearts team talk sorted.

I agree, but Gerrard gets the credit! I remember seeing a picture of the note. Just goes to show how important a manager's back-room staff can be.

Gerrard said it: McGregor is world class. He had no right to save those two one-on-ones. I recall Ally McCoist saying after the first, if the lad lifts it over McGregor it's a goal; on the second one-on-one, he lifts it, and McGregor still gets a hand to it! If there was an asteroid hurtling towards earth, McGregor would palm it away (shamelessly stolen from Bet365 ). I thought Arfield was terrific; his energy and tackling was brilliant. I actually thought Coulibaly was similar, but he was playing deeper so didn't look as good as Arfield. The sending off was a joke. It took them half an hour to figure out he'd already booked him. Muppets. I thought the tactical switch, although enforced, was clever: Villarreal played with a diamond, so they outnumbered us in the middle; again -- he did it in the first game at Aberdeen too -- Gerrard's gone with a 4-3-2 to compact the middle and force them wide. Very well done.

You can't say that! SFA charge coming your way... I noticed Gerrard said something similar too in his interview.

Part of me was actually more excited by Rangers signing Beale than Gerrard. A wee bit.

I hope KT doesn't read this thread...

Not Pacific Quay, but James McFadden said today on Sky Sports (I think?) that Morelos misses more games than he plays through suspension.
