What a brilliant and insightful reply - I don't want admired by anyone on a football forum, least of all you. As for being angry, I am angry a the way our club is being run. -

It may achieve getting some football people working for the club who could put a structure in place and hire a manager who could challenge for domestic honours? A DoF who identifies manager / coach, players, a scouting system that works, a youth system that works. -

He could and should - should have done it weeks ago . Clocks ticking. That he hasn't, tends to imply he doesn't have a clue -

Again, typical response when you've lost a debate. It was you who said Beale had somehow hoodwinked Bisgrove into not appointing a DoF - something that you were using as a stick to beat Beale with. Now, if its true and our board are allowing Michael Beale to tell them how they should structure the footballing department, then we are in deeper trouble than any of us think. However, if someone uses this as a stick to beat Bisgrove with, it's moonhowlimg? You couldn't make this shit up, oh wait.... -

But we are told Beale has told Bisgrove NOT to employ such a person. If that's true, Bisgrove has to go. -

It does and can change things as an example Bisgrove can and should he be sacked for pandering to Beale (your words) on the non-appointment of a DoF. Or should our board pander to a manager when it comes to establishing a competent footballing structure? -
The thing is, their fans are more deluded than ours! I can understand their dislike of Rodgers, but let's face it, he's a decent manager. Their dislike of Lawell is harder to work out but think its more political. When we won 55 they acted and acted swiftly, we didn't and this is the consequence.

Really? So does Bisgrove deserve to be sacked along with Beale for not employing a DoF whether it be his or MBs choice not to have one? -
Unfortunately that lot appear to have a board who make them millions, make far more correct decisions, have a business plan that drives their football operation. In fact, and it kills me to say it, they have everything that we don't.

Really? So how many more years in the wilderness do we accept before questioning the boards ability to make us the dominant force in Scottish Football? -
Really? So if they fail to win the title the following year? Or lose a couple of games in the first 20 or so league games of the following season?

The board have a fine pedigree in appointing successful managers. -
The only manager to win the top flight title since Smith took 3 years to win it. Most Rangers fans wanted him sacked long before we secured 55 and its safe to say Covid and lock down saved hom from being sacked.
-
It's not what I'm saying but no matter. A new manager will provide improved performances and results, but short of winning the league will be deemed a failure and the fans will want them sacked - am I wrong in that assumption?
-
Shame, as it makes perfect sense. We are becoming a poisoned challis.
-
I didn't say that - I've said repeatedly Beale deserves to be sacked. Why are you ignoring this? We can't sack the board - but as I said previously they are as much an ssue as Beale. They are clueless. Or do you think they are doing a good job?
-
Here is how this will play out. We'll sack Beale, the Rangers fans will rejoice. We'll appoint a new manger and the Rangers fans will rejoice. The new manager will "fail" in the eyes of the Rangers fans and will be sacked. Repeat on a yearly basis
-
I'm supporting the board? Hahaha aye right. The board have proven they are clueless and as much of an issue as Beale is.

So the madness continues and we stumble from shit manager to shit manager. Happy days ahead then. -
So not Ibrox then - unless your interested in a Martindale or McInnes.
-
Add this to the fact that any new manager will not have a budget to spend, will be playing to fans who'll turn on him after the first run of bad results.

Do you trust the board to make the right appointment? Do they sack Beale when they have no succession plan in place? They can't even make their mind up regarding the requirement of the DoF role never mind if / when they replace the manager. They are clueless
