Midfield played badly for 3 of the 4 halves. Raskin and Cifu are young players learning to play at a higher level and looked lost / caught in the headlights. Last night Cantwell was the same. Just have to hope they learn and improve.

But Roofe is and has always been the best striker at the club since he signed. Top scorer in 55 season and huge miss when he is injured (almost constantly). He must start on Sunday.

But a new dawn has to start somewhere. We were sceptical about being able to stop 10 and we did. It was a 2-0 OF win at Parkhead that propelled us that season and we may have thought then it was a false dawn

Didn't say it should. What I'm saying is a win on Sunday which isn't outwith the realms of possibility could be crucial in the direction of the season.

Yes, as we've proven we can be successful at that level. CL on the otherhand should and would have given us all nightmares.

Weirdly, if you can stomach it, Celtic fans are saying the exact same regarding the direction their team / manager is going. I think a win for us on Sunday could be huge as they'll turn on Brenda and the players (as we will if we lose).

Absolutely but our history shows that there have been unsuccessful times as well as times where we have dominated. In times of woe, its easy to fixate on times of unrivalled success. Anybody who thought that getting back to the top flight would automatically mean a return to domestic domimace was frankly delusional. Celtic had a five year spell where they were default Champions and had automatic access to CL funds. We were and still are playing catch up. Yes we should have won more domestic trophies in the last few years, but we haven't. We need to focus on regaining our title this season as well as adding a cup or two then hopefully build on that. We didn't build on 55 and paying the price for it, but have a great chance this season in my opinion.

Yes we are, but "failing" to qualify for the CL doesn't automatically mean we can't do well domestically

Let's be honest mate, there are Rangers fans almost hoping for us to lose so they can go on social media and bleat about the players and manager. Rangers forums are always quieter when we win and I've always wondered why (or the win is downplayed).

Couldn't care how PSV do in CL. What is undeniable is that they are better than us over the two legs and deserve to be in CL. That is not accepting 2nd best or mediocrity, it's just being honest.

I might be in the minority, but Sundays game was always bigger than tonight's. We are not CL material. We bank money for dropping into EL and go in as top seeds (IIRC).

Sundays game is huge now - Beale needs to be brave on Sunday and pick the right team.

That's not answering the question. We were lucky to beat them 1-0 last season.

Name one of our outfield players that gets in their team? Or even in their squad? Head and shoulders above us all over the pitch. Their manager is better than ours, thats stating the odvious as there are plenty managers better than ours.

Never said it was an excuse, but it's a reason we are struggling. They are by far a better team than us, lightyears ahead and a joy to watch. Comparing PSV against us to us against Motherwell is ridiculous. Comparing apples and Rolls Royces

Well there going to be there this year - far superior team to us and a joy to watch. Lightyears ahead of us.

Both Sangare and Bakayoko look fantastic players. Joy to watch if your honest.
