Walter Smith is the greatest Rangers manager of my generation and with 1 exception in Europe in each of his spells, we were torture. In his 1st spell, he had untold millions to assemble a squad to compete in Europe, he constantly failed. What he did do was dominate domestically. His 2nd spell was a bigger achievement IMO as he had less resources than in his 1st spell. We need level heads and stability to move forward. We'll never be successful if we continue to change managers if we deem them a "failure" are 3, 6, 9 months. Imagine if we wanted WS sacked for getting cuffed by AEK Athens or Grasshoppers in CL qualifiers.

Their 3rd goal killed us last night just after we had managed to get a toe-hold in the game. It is criminal to lose a goal so soon after scoring, especially from a set-piece. It looked like whoever was marking De Jong lost him. It had happened a couple of times in first half as well. We then capitulated to a heavy defeat. PSV deserved their win and hence deserve to progress. We matched them at Ibrox where a draw was probably a fair result. Last night their midfield and forwards clicked (they didn't at Ibrox) and they looked a very good team. Whilst victory was always a long shot, the capitulation was the most worrying factor along with more individual errors. Our midfield being overran meant our defence was exposed and our forward players were strayed of possession for large parts of the game. Beale needs to be brave with his team selection in Sunday as our best chance of victory is dominating them in midfield and attacking at pace.

Said for months that we'd only realise what players like Kent and Alfie brought to us once they had left. A very large majority wanted Kent and Alfie released, a long with all the other "serial losers". Well, we've gotten rid of a lot of players who fall into that category and now, we want them all back 😀

In reality he should get at least this season. If he wins a couple of cups/league and gets a decent run in EL, I think most would say he's done his job. Personally, I want the league and only the league.
