Hopefully a busy week ahead. Ideally 4 out and 3 in.

We all agreed that we required an upgrade in the squad / starting 11 and we've seen some welcome additions over the summer, with hopefully more to come. However, it would have been naive to think that this wouldn't result in players moving on. We have invested heavily in the final 3rd and if Danilo is signed, we have some great options. Colak and Fashion if he leaves are victims of us upgrading. There will more players leaving and more arriving. That's a positive in my opinion.

Good luck to Colak, wish him all the best and another who's welcome back at Ibrox anytime.

I was expecting a statement from Rangers regarding the settlement and inquiry. Was never gonna be truly independent but the subcommittee mentioned above will ensure all the skeletons stay in the closet.

Normally, you're correct, but it would have to go through a disciplinary process, so worst case for Doncaster would be "gardening leave" until the outcome of the process. Either way, it will cost them a few bob, which is nice.

Doesn't Doncaster have a 2-year "notice period"? Will cost a few bob for them to sack him.

We rejected a £4M bid last pre-season for Sakala ( from Burnley IIRC).

If all true and we get Danilo for less than we take in for Colak and Sakala, it's great business.

Colak to Parma, Sakala to Saudi - close to £6M combined for both.

0-6-4 obviously 🙃😀 No fee mentioned but it was same person who broke the LB signing so might be true (or not!). Danilo scored for Feyenoord in a friendly yesterday and would be a phenomenon signing in my opinion.

Apparently Feyenoord have accepted our bid for Danilo - looks like we won't be needing CBs just going all out attack 😀

One does wonder how much those loans cost us tho. 🤔

That's the spirit. But you're correct we are never winning CL with or without LB..... Did you listen to the manager today? Confirming why we signed LB and that there are more signings in the pipeline?

So the rumours about Leon King have been confirmed and he is out for a "significant period of time". Might be some truth in the Balogun rumours after all.

The 'social media' rumour stated Balogun was having a medical at Ross Hall (we now do our medicals in Manchester) and Balogun's social media has him in Austria with QPR. It also stated he was being offered a 1 year rolling contract, which I've never heard for a player before. Now there maybe something in these rumours, there might not be. As for it killing off optimism and trust, I think that's a bit over the top. All summer signings thus far have been sound signings and have 'excited' most fans I've spoken to. The resigning (or not) of LB shouldn't detract from the summer signings nor from Cantwell and Raskin. As for Leon King, he showed last season how far away he is from being capable of holding down a place in our squad. I hope King improves and proves to be a success at Rangers, but he's not ready just yet - a years loan wouldn't be a bad thing for him. EDIT - just heard a rumour that Kimg sustained an injury in training, hence the "interest" (rumoured or not) in LB. We'll know for sure sooner rather than later
