I think Barasic was always gonna be 1st choice. Yilmaz has been constantly injured / "settling in" and when available shown nothing to suggest he is capable of making the LB position his.

From MBs press conference - Yilmaz injured, Lawrence continuing his rehabilitation, Fashion JR away discussing a move, everyone else fit and available for selection (assuming Kamara is not included).

Because we needed to replace most of the squad. In hindsight, it's probably 2 or 3 windows too late, but we've done it this window and have added quality to Raskin and Cantwell who both impressed since joining. I'm excited about the forthcoming season, whether we win the league is debatable, Celtic are rightly favourites but I believe we have rhe quality to match them. Will depend on how quickly the team blends.

A luxury who has scored over 100 goals for the club (including in every round on our run to the EL final) and scored and assisted yesterday? Some may say (rightly or wrongly) that's a necessity rather than a luxury?

Nah, simple explanation is he was at fault for both goals. Said after midweek game that he gets an easy ride and defended simply because he ISNT Borna. He's shown NOTHING in his time here to show he is a Rangers player longterm.

Left hand side of our defence is terrible and not clicking in the forward areas as yet.

Yilmaz at fault again. Has to stop that ball coming across the 6 yard line. We are looking at a hiding here if this continues.
