The most they'll get, outwith the entire Broomie is the European allocation. Remember a time back in early 80s where they basically got half the ground - Broomie, West Enclosure, part of Main Stand and on one occasion they got the red section of Govan (front and rear).

We've already spent a significant amount on a replacement for Borna who is no better (putting it kindly) than Borna. So do we stick with Ridvan just because we signed him to replace Borna (if he is ever available) or do we play the best current option we have at left back? What guarantee is there that any replacement we get for Tav and / or Borna will be better than them? Are the replacements going to score over 100 goals for us and be our top European Scorer of all-time (an achievement that Tav is closing in on)? Or create as many goals as Borna does? If not, who's gonna create these chances that Borna creates and score the amount of goals that Tav scores? We already have fans decrying our forward players and the lack of goals / chances they are creating (think I've heard it referred to as XG or something like that), so would things improve if we remove 2 players who regularly either create or score?

I don't like 3 at the back, never have and never will. Not to say it wouldn't be successful but it feels more like 5 at back rather than back 3. Otherwise your team looks good

Has always been this way. If you could have combined the Kenny Miller and Kris Boyd you'd have had a world class player. As individuals, they were very good players, but of they were comete players, they wouldn't have been at Rangers. What we have to do is try and pick players who could become complete players, players who've "lost their way" and hope they capture their MoJo at Rangers and we can sell them on for a profit. Ridvan was a gamble and its one that's backfired. He hasn't settled, he can't gey a run in team.as he's continually injured and when he has played, he hasn't shown anything to suggest he could be a longterm solution to our left back position. Borna has faults, but at this time he is the best we have for the LB position.

There is no conundrum, Barasic is the best left back at the club, hence he plays more than Ridvan. For whatever reason, Ridvan hasn't settled here and / or is continually injured. I hear Borna being described as a "shit bag", but at least he is available for selection. So far this season Borna has assisted Dessers goal in the 1st leg, Tav's goal in the 2nd leg last night and Danilo's all important goal on Saturday. Most importantly, he's played well in all those games. As someone said previously in the thread, if Borna, or anyone in our squad for that matter, was a "complete" player they wouldn't be playing for Rangers. Until we sign a better player than Borna, he is our left back. Its really that simple.

I think yes, a little harsh. When Tav sees Souttar misjudging the ball, he tucks in to cover the player the initial strike hits. May be the right midfield player should have tucked back? Traffic strike, but its Souttars fault and no one else's IMO.

A few good 2nd half performances but overall Butland for me

Hard to believe that by the end of this seasons Euro campaign (CL or EL) our club record European scorer may be our current RB / Captain.

It's also worth remembering that Cifu has played 1/2 a season in US so is match fit and up to speed. Looks a great signing all in all. Hopefully starting to see more from the team, played some good football last night in the 2nd half.

We should make circa £2M from the PSV game - ticket money, TV, sponsorship etc.

We are (arguably), and they are a good side, but far from unbeatable. They'll be favourites and they'll fancy their chances.

Beat them last season so no reason that we can't do it again but as you say huge improvement required.

He was terrible 1st half but outstanding 2nd half. Butland MOTM by a country mile. Tav another who was poor 1st half but improved 2nd half.

Job done and £5M in the bank. Far better 2nd half but huge improvement required against PSV

I think Tav, Souttar and Raskin would be better being subbed - all three have been woeful.

Started well, created a great chance that Danilo missed. Butland keeping us in the tie and behind due to yet another individual error.
