Gio is known to play 4-3-3 but with 2 "real" wingers. As for reverting to 3 at the back, we are struggling to find 2 decent centre halves, nevermind 3......

Today's result was more than disappointing, it was an embarrassment and as I said above, the players should hang their head in shame. The League Final we lost 1-0 to a Celtics couple years back was a dissapoitment, a game where we played really well but lost. The manner of today's defeat is worrying. The manner some of the senior players have reacted to this defeat is worrying. The fact we have a goalkeeper who appears unable to make even a simple save is worrying. Letting the B Team staff take a cup semi final was baffling, given their inability to outthink coaches of the mighty Bo'ness United, Dalbeatie Star, Cumbernauld, etc is worrying. I can (grudgingly) accept defeat if the players are honest and play to their abilities, today, they were an embarrassment to themselves, the club and the fans.

Gios first job is to find out who has the guts for the fight. Those that don't, feck off and don't let the door hit your arses on way out. To all those Rangers fans who left Hampden today after Hibs 3 goal, ask yourselves the same question.

1. Wrong team selection. 2. Only Aribo pass marks. 3. Woeful defending. 4. Wrong tactics. 5. Woeful goalkeeping. 6. No pace. 7. No imagination. 8. Two Hibs players booked in first 3 mins and we stopped running at them. 9. Baffling subs. 10. No leaders on the pitch. That's off the top of my head.

About time, McGregor has not made a save all season- 1st one to be dropped IMO

First game we were taken by our BB troop and 1st replay taken by my Uncle. On the way home he asked if I wanted to go to 2nd replay and promptly said no!!!

There was also the two-legged League Cup Semi-final in 1985 (iirc) where we lost 2-0 at Easter Road where Super missed a host of chances (and a penalty iirc). We won the 2nd leg at Ibrox 1-0 thanks to a wonder free kick from Davie Cooper. This thread is giving me the fear..........

I have just realised I have never seen Rangers beat Hibs at Hampden. Our last victory was 1979 Scottish Cup Final (2nd replay). I was at first two games and decided against the 2nd replay as previous 2 matches were terrible affairs.

None according to Ross Wilson's interview! Says Gio will be at the game but in stands rather than dug-out. Gio must have some amount of MyGers points to get a ticket at this late stage.

Potentially more appointments to the backroom staff (from 4th Official) Twitter; Performance analyst Yori Bosschaart is also joining the team along with physiotherapist Arno Philips. Philips is currently the physio for the Dutch national team. This particular information is collaborated by Chris Jack's Herald column.
