  1. Quite simple to check rather than deliberately misquoting.
  2. AGAIN NOT WHAT I SAID - STOP DELIBERATELY MISQUOTING ME
  3. Nope, never said that. I think it's unrealistic to expect Rangers NOT to be challenging for titles and trophies. If others think otherwise, fine but it's a demand and expectation that the players and manager need to understand.
  4. Whilst I thought it was a decent enough team performance, nobody really stuck out for me. Credit to the 3 goal scorers and Butland for a great instinctive save at 2-0. Gone for Butland for that save as if they had scored then, the complexion of the game changes.
  5. Away from home so will be travelling Wednesday one would expect.
  6. For the final time, it doesn't matter who I have any list. If it's unrealistic to expect to challenge in the SPL and win trophies, you shouldn't be supporting Rangers.
  7. Doesn't matter who's on my list though does it? We lose on Sunday and Clement is done.
  8. But by beating the rest, you remain competitive and have momentum, confidence, belief and cohesion going into OF games which gives you an opportunity.
  9. Who ever we go for has to understand Scottish football (that's not saying I want McInnes). I've said previously, if we beat the "rest" on a regular basis, we remaining in touching distance of them. Then if we get our act together in OF games, we have a chance of competing. As it stands, we can't do either.
  10. I just can't see how we can. My heart says yes, but my head says their better than us all over the pitch, especially in the forward areas If they score first, we are in for a long, long afternoon.
  11. That's why we've brought in a new CEO and looking (still) for a new Chairperson.
  12. Yeah I get that, but we are in a decent place in EL. Sunday is far more important. I for one can't stomach another defeat against them especially in a cup final.
  13. I really don't care about Thursday. Sunday is the acid test for us. Another defeat and the manager must be removed and replaced.
  14. I was maoning about being cut adrift in 3rd place when we were cut adrift in 3rd place. We're still in 3rd place and achieved the square root of nothing. If Rangers fans are celebrating almost catching Aberdeen yet still being 11 points behind Celtic, I suggest our standards and expectations are lower than I thought. Oh and accepting being 2nd best? Not for me.
  15. No Rangers manager should be "bigging them up". That's twice in just over a week he's done it.
  16. Exactly what I thought when I heard those comments. Setting the narrative before a ball is kicked.
  17. Rangers 2 v 0 Ross County Cerny FGS
  18. Premiership very unpredictable this season. Liverpool's title to throw away.
  19. I can't remember if Stuart or someone else (maybe someone called Sandy) ran the original messageboard back in the day. I'm sure that's where Gersnet was "formed" or it was where we were all pointed in the direction of Gersnet. Sites came a long way since those early days of the Internet/social media. Some characters throughout the years, that's for sure.
  20. Think I was "out the country".

    Time wasting

Think this is a good idea but since its been about 3 decades since we scored from a corner, not going to be much help for us 😀
  22. Weirdly, given our result in Nice, Thursday is a "free hit" for us and I'd say its the least important game of the three. Three points are vital in Dingwall and we really need to start beating Celtic and what better way than in a Hampden cup final. The big question regarding the game on Sunday is which version of Rangers turns up!! Never easy to predict.
  23. Didn't we have a set-piece coach under Gerrard?
  24. As @Frankie says, many of us did, but I might have been a bit more "vocal" though (some things never change 😉 😀).
  25. I get the argument that all the players we signed don't necessarily need to improve our starting 11. However, if we are spending a chunk of our budget on "X", they must be ready to start and be an upgrade on what we currently have, otherwise we'll struggle to improve (and signing them becomes pointless if it's just to cut wages). Most teams do rotate and using your example of Celtic and McGowan, it was a low risk signing for them. They have more quality than us and more money, so signings like McGowan are easy for them and very low risk (financially). I agree regarding Cameron, a player we should be looking to get signed up in a free-transfer. For me the Shankland shipped has sailed. However if we pick him up on a free and he is willing to accept the same wages at Rangers as he's currently on, then it becomes a low risk signing. We shouldn't be paying a fee for him, or offering him more than he is currently on. We've had undoubted success in the Scottish market both historically and recently, but the quality of player we require and can afford is now a rarity in Scotland. That's not to say there won't be exceptions, we just need to identify them and sign them before they are tempted elsewhere.
