In a way I can understand the calling off of sporting fixtures but sympathise with those who have made travel/hotel bookins etc. as they will be out of pocket. In no way I mean this as disrespect to what has occurred.

To me we didn't have enough quality to compete.

Maybe within the hysteria we can take solace from the latest u/21 Scotland squad in that we have four in there compared to one from the scum. Albeit that two of ours are outward loanees it must give a glimmer of hope.

One thing I took from tonight was a better display from McLaughlin who stopped it from being at least 6-0 by half-time.

Modric was absolutely amazing.

Don't remember if it was on here(had my Sunday bottle of wine) but it is easy to train players to use the ball quickly from free-kicks/throw-ins etc.I done it with a primary school team in the early 90's.

Would it not be better to speculate how we can use them,e.g. Montando for what he was signed for.

Correct,stop the passing Goldson to Sands,do the reverse or pass back to the goalkeeper,then to Goldson/Sands and maybe a forward pass.By then the opposition have set up their ten man defence. Come on Gio sort this out or are you/we incapable of doing so?.

A big problem at the moment but in my view we have too many players unavailable due to injury,some long term,some due to being clugged e.g. Lawrence v Ross County/Lowry v Dumbarton Yesterday has gone so let's forget it and look forward.and hopefully when they come back things will change.

Maybe not but fourth goal was nobody else's,similar to the game where he passed to Sands and nearly got him sent off.I thought McLaughlin was going to be our safe number one but not now having watched him this season.

The problem is they must have listening to the old record entitled Over Under Sideways Down when doing their tactical coaching(leaving out the Over).😏

As I said for some of his runs early on,he was as you say at fault at their free-kicks as was Kamara/Lundstrum/Davis and all who were as piss poor at these.

Going back to throw-ins the last time I can remember was when Candeias took one to Windass(I think) and a goal was scored.Now we have ONLY the full backs taking them and taking an eternity to do so. When I took primary school football,many moons ago,I taught the kids how to keep the game flowing with quick throw-ins/free kicks. That cannot be a task beyond Gio and his coaches.

Voted Kent only because of some of his runs.

Think that Gio will have to scrutinise the video of the game and hopefully realise that free kicks/throw-ins will have to be taken more quickly especially throw-ins as we seem to take an eternity with them.

Learn how to recycle ball quickly instead of handing to the full backs,no need for same person(s) to take throw ins all the time,would help.

Not long in from game underwhelmed is the word I would use. Easy to see why Sakala doesn't get used,Matondo flattered to deceive,liked the look of King,not sure of full backs but impressed by McCann when he came on. Second half was that bad that I was steeling myself for extra time until Scotty got our late third. On to Saturday now.
