To me it will be unforgiving as no doubt the whole of his assistants are likely to go with him should he go.IMO it was them who gave the team proper education on how to play with Gerard the figurehead so it would be the we miss most. Anyway Gerard says he loves the European nights so it will be a long time before he would see them again at Villa.

As far as i am aware Villa would have to ask permission to speak to Gerard as he is under contract till 2024. Should this be given it would indicate to me that Rangers have asked Gerard if he wishes to do so and if yes would then show that Gerard has an interest. All hypothetical but if Gerard did want to talk to Villa would show that he might move if offered a deal impossible to refuse. Think of the unrest it would cause here.

Suppose it is the fact that Tav makes MANY defensive mistakes yet one assist makes him a hero that's what. Tav is a very good player but lot's of folk gloss over some of his deficiencies.

Some harsh words on Morelos as he has to play mostly with his back to goal and try to link play,maybe with the passing abilities of Kent/Hagi it is possible he will get to play as a striker again.

Pretty sure I seen a clip of the referee indicating the TV sign and pointing to box for bye kick.

Regards Aribo if SG insists on playing him down the right he will have to learn to use his right foot as a couple of times tonight his inability to do showed.

Top scoring defender,yes last season,but this season apart from the odd decent cross he has been poor,and been involved in a good few goal losses.

Without a decent run in the team we will never find out.

A scramble was when the wedding cars left the address(usually the bride's) and coins were thrown out of the windows of the cars to have the waiting kids jostle and scramble around the ground for.

Was working that day and when going to the canteen for afternoon tea break someone had a radio on.The presenter said "we are going over to Hampden for highlights of the final" and I listened in wonder as they relayed the goals 1-0 Jags/2-0 Jags/3-0 Jags and 4-0 Jags,leaving me elated. Went out that night with my young brother and my mate(a lifetime Jags fan). After leaving pub we got stopped by the Police(real ones in those days) for singing too loudly and then with a smile they left us to enjoy the rest of our evening but calm the singing.
