  1. Alfie showing how important he is for this team. We were garbage all day playing long balls up to the wingers looking for crosses into the box until the last 10 minutes where we played round them on the deck and then put the ball in the box from closer to the byline.
  2. Looks to me like they've chucked it at the start of the second half.
  3. The personnel and formations have changed but the tactics have been the same for 2 months now Frankie same type of play same type of result. No one is learning anything. If we keep playing the same we'll lose another goal in the second half and not score ourself.
  4. Their goal has been coming we've been really poor first half. The manager needs to stop changing the defence Worrel has been woeful as per ususal and for me it looks like Goldson has no confidence playing alongside him. Absolutely garbage.
  5. Are you talking about the one where headers, rather than kicks, a ball at knee hight in the centre circle straight to a hibs player or one of the different ones?
  6. Also when you see Joe Worrel is coming on for Gareth McAuley
  7. I'm tired of hearing how unlucky we've been Frankie sure there was a decent penalty claim as it was a blatant hand to ball but I'm sick of it if we're creating 20-25 chances a game and we should be scoring at least one of them. To then claim its unlucky in my opinion is naive. its poor finishing and lack of composure mate and as Craig says above the manager needs to find it somewhere either in the transfer market ready for next season or come January with a Bosman or loan player to see us through to next season.
  8. We had 14 or 15 corners which save Tav's corner early on were all delivered on a plate for anyone with the smarts to get on the end of, We also played some beautiful crosses into the box from both left and right side but still no one could get on the end of any of them. We played them on the break at times and again other than one or two shots that were smashed at the goal and cannoned off a Hibs body no one was composed enough to simply pass the ball into the net. We've got some serious problems in the last third when we came make loads of good chances yet cant score 1 goal from any of them.
  9. We were better than them in every department tonight except for one and its starting to become a problem for me Frankie 2 goals in 450 minutes of football is certainly nowhere near what is required as far as I'm concerned.
  10. Its been all Rangers in the first half with lots of attacking play resulting in 15 corners. Hamilton even though the scoreline is still only 1-0 haven't been anywhere near the game. Some of the tackles coming from Hamilton are absolutely shocking. I'm surprised that they still have 11 on the park especially MacKinnon who has had more than a few goes at our players with no intention to play the ball.
  11. Do you even read these forums? The manager says in his post match that Kent had an issue so took him off as a precaution. Anyway I'm gonna take myself off of here I'm off out for the night. https://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/ipboard/topic/38501-ft-dundee-1-1-rangers-halliday-21/?do=findComment&comment=720806
  12. It shouldn't have been a difficult fixture, against a bottom of the league Dundee side. No one other than Hamilton have found them a difficult fixture we should have been running all over the top of them and scoring plenty of goals even when they had 11 men on the park. There's no excuse, and I'm accepting none, for that woeful draw today none whatsoever.
  13. Trueblue said exactly the same as I did in his follow up post and went further too. In his post he talks about pulling defenders out and hints at the importance of short corners when you are playing against 10 men. We had more than enough corners to score from and more or less every one of them was fired into the box either on top of their keeper or their defenders... easy life being a Dundee defender when every blue shirt in the box is nowhere near it. Thats when you play short corners because the players have to be closed down and with an extra man it creates space otherwise you have two attackers coming into your box one with the ball. In open play all of our front three attacking options are in a line across the field and the midfield is 20-30 yards behind them... again easy life being a Dundee defender as no one is breaking through the lines but then from your post you seem to know this so why respond to me as if in disagreement?
  14. Absolutely agree we have nothing of a game plan other than get the ball wide and cross it into the box. Even at that when we do manage it we've only got 1 striker either Morelos who has carried this team all season or Lafferty who has done nothing when he's had a chance. We don't move opposition defenders around we don't pull players out of position we just cross it into the box in the hope that someone will get onto it. Our defence can win headers in our own box but then our midfield cant pick up the second ball and its the same in the oppositions box we cant pick up any second balls. We're terrible at throw ins and we cant win a ball in the air in the middle of the park. Its got nothing to do with having leaders its a lack of quality or understanding of the game as it plays out thats the problem here. After Wednesdays pish I'm absolutely raging at that display.
  15. I feel sorry for all the bears who made the trip to Dundee to watch that. 80% possession for 45 minutes against a 10 man bottom of the league Dundee side and had no idea how to shoot at goal never mind score. Nowhere near good enough for me folks and you can argue with me all day long and I still wouldn't accept it.
  16. We've had something like 80% possession in this half and 1 shot on goal lots of corners against 10 men and we've not played 1 corner short.
  17. Worrel and Goldson have had a stinker today so far. Not impressed by Worrel at all and Goldson has looked ropey for a number of games now yet Katic cant buy a jersey.
  18. It was arguable when McRorie went at Ibrox that he was the last man as Goldson was 3 yards away yet albeit in line with him
  19. Its outside the box with a player running in on goal he has to go as did McRorrie against St Mirren. If its inside its a pen and a yellow... outside and the player is off.
  20. How many goals do we need to score that are onside before something is done about these officals who are not fit enough to be up with play?
  21. Lethargic, insipid performance from the lads tonight. They showed no urgency to shift the ball beyond a tightly packed Aberdeen midfield and defence. Rangers passed the ball to death tonight mostly in the 30-60 yard area and looked toothless for the whole game. I thought that the days Warburton plan A had been removed from our play but on that display it hasn't. No one showed any courage or invention tonight electing instead to play the safe percentage pass and more than once they even managed to fluff that up. We haven't won a game in three against them this season and quite frankly that's not good enough.
  22. We started brightly with some nice quick play but then after the goal we've gone into our shell a bit messing around between defence and midfield with very little quick through ball. Glen Middleton brought out a great save from Lewis 5-10 minutes from the break but other than that we've not created much while Aberdeen have charged around the field pushing our players over and slowing the game down with niggly free kicks and some gamesmanship in return.
