  1. For the first time in years I can say that at no stage in that game was I worried about them. It was a game that had 0-0 written all over it. You guys can argue about the tactics, formations whatever all day. But as far as I'm concerned they had that handed to them on a plate by the man in the middle. How he can allow play to continue when Jack is cynically taken out allowing a 4 on 2 break is absolutely beyond me? Its never pleasant being beaten by them but I'm not disheartened by what I've seen today and I'm not going to be too critical of the team or the manager either. We've a team of young new players many of whom were making their Old Firm debut who all played to the managers instructions and in any other country would have walked out of that midden with at least a point today. Stevie G was calm and collected on the touch line but you could see Rodgers was physically shiting it. Theres a lot more to come from this team and don't forget we were missing our destroyer who I think will tear their midfield to shreds when we get him back for the first Ibrox game.
  2. I dont disagree with that. I just saying its half time and they havent really troubled us like I'd have expected. They've had one chance header from Eduard that Shagger saved round the post for a corner and a shot from distance from Forrest and thats pretty much all they've had that could have gone either way.
  3. They haven't worried us. We been patient at no stage in that first half did I feel we were under pressure we've managed them exceptionally. Aye sure they've looked busy in the middle of the park but in or around the box we've tightened up and denied them any space or movement so much so that they are flying up to the edge of our box and stopping. We look happy to let them have the ball in their own half and stop them from 25-30 yards out. The one thing that has concerned me is the referee its been embarrassing what he's blew up for in favour of them.
  4. Goldson is fine when the ball is in front of him but anything over his head and he lacks pace to recover the last two matches have shown that.
  5. I'd agree with you except for the Kent sub you mention I'd rather he was on to help Flanagan who has looked lost against their pace. Kent brings that and can help in there.
  6. The Ref booked him twice on the spot. Take the booking you know you're going get and shut the f&*k up Alfredo. I'm angry with him for that. Cruising in an EL away game he gets mouthy gets himself sent off. Puts his team mates under pressure that they seriously dont need in this game nevermind with important game coming up on Sunday.
  7. Missed the first 20mins because of it here TB.
  8. Flanagan is struggling in this game. Doesnt help when the fella is offside and isnt flagged but still play the whistle here.
  9. Neither Gaffer nor myself suggested not voting. You do realise that you can vote and NOT vote for anyone or a political party right?
  10. I suspect Gaffer isn't talking about abstention. I suspect like me they chose to use their vote to NOT vote for any political party?
  11. I don't believe we've looked remotely like the same team without him mate.
  12. The team we play next week will be much more mobile in the final third than this lot and our defence was the poorest I've seen it. We showed them wide and tried to defend the middle. We didn't look up for it, other than Katic couldn't handle them being on top of us all the time. Goldson was absolutely dreadful today and because of that Tav was stuck between a rock and a had place today. Yes he lost a man for the 3rd but he's supposed to be defending the near post not the back at corners. Who was it that was supposed to be there exactly? EDIT: Our defending was garbage today for 90 mins not the last 3 of added time.
  13. The only one of our back line who looked up for it today was Katic the rest were poor. Goldson looked nervous for the whole game Flanagan looked like the game passed him by completely Tav was left with two men every time they punted it and more often than not he was caught between them. Other than a couple of nice crosses Barasic looked nervy in the first half and did nothing in the second. It wasn't just Tav in there Frankie.
  14. Poor second half Motherwell were a yard sharper and quicker to every ball. We should have turned the screw on them because they have absolutely nothing other than a long ball. Disappointed with us there.
  15. Well thats a thing. Start off with a series of slips to go a goal down come back into it and look to have far too much for Motherwell and Tav goes for a smoke to let them go 2-1 up. We switch the back three around and def have too much for Motherwell Lafferty pops up on the end of a Tav cross again 2-2 and then we break from a Motherwell corner and Ejaria slots it away with a little help from their keeper. Motherwell have absolutely nothing other than two pests up front all they do is look for free kicks and corners to flood the box while kicking everything above the grass. If we can keep that back door closed Motherwell have got nothing and I can see this ending 5/6-2 to us.
  16. I'm disappointed with 1-0. Two pens on a stick on when Candeias is taken out in the box and the second Middleton was adjudged to have been on the receiving end of Lafferty winning the ball with his hand. It was quite clearly the Ufa defenders arm it comes off. Yeah I'm disappointed in that we were much better than 1-0.
  17. I'm surprised theres been no bookings for Ufa given the number of fouls that they've given away some of them with no intention to play the ball. We've controlled the match with Ufa playing on the counter attack. They've been tough to break down getting little nicks on the slide rule passes etc but eventually the goal comes from a corner Morelos connects with it well keeper manages to keep it out but cant stop Goldson slotting the ball into the net from the keepers save a couple of yards out.
  18. An absolutely ridiculous development. The implication here is that the authorities didn't have enough evidence to go to trial which leave the observer suspecting incompetence. It says a hell of a lot about what ordinary people are to expect that they are prepared to take the chance of PR disaster just to circle the wagons.
  19. They should have their ears cleaned out then. There must be totties growing in there because it was Kilmarnock who were singing the Killie Boys.
