What is a world class manager? How many managers have been great with one club and crap with another. Last year Chelsea looked unbeatable and Man City crap. This season the roles are turned around. Money is a huge plus in making a good manager but is not a guarantee a manager will have success.

If it is a money thing then it is just that McInnes is not worth paying 1.5 million or even 800.000 pounds for. I honestly don't believe that the Rangers board has been sitting on their hands the last 2 weeks. I do think Rangers have pulsed Aberdeen but have now given up on any deal being done. Nothing to do with not having money but just that McInnes is not worth that much against other candidates we can get for nothing. We will see what the next few weeks throw up.

Personally I think we have been trying to get McInnes in but Aberdeen are holding out on a high compensation. Pure speculation and just my own thoughts.

Jack was also applauded at times to be honest. He actually looks a good back and can read the game well. From what I have seen of McLean I am afraid I don't see a Rangers player there. The one thing that I am not so sure about McInnes is then Why is it taking so long? If they only are interested in McInnes it would have been rounded off at least a week ago.

To be fair he only got about 6 games. The mistake he made was thinking he could get hump it farmers to be passing game football players. With Inter he came against the same as PLG an older squad not willing to accept change.
