Now Finnie, who came through the youth ranks at Hamilton before joining Gers last March, hopes to shine for the Jags in the second half of the season to show he is ready to take his career to the next level. FInnie said: “Being a young player I couldn’t see any way to break into the team at Rangers with them not doing so well as they should have been. So I’ve come here hoping to get an opportunity to prove myself. “This is a good chance for me to progress and start getting some game time."

Keeper faces ban if found guilty of betting on football RANGERS keeper Steve Simonsen has responded to betting charges brought against him by the SFA and will now learn his fate next month. The ruling body confirmed last night that the Ibrox goalie , who is alleged to have placed 55 bets on football matches , had contacted the association in relation to the accusation by yesterday's deadline – but refused to say if he had pleaded guilty. Simonsen's case will be heard by the Judicial Panel on February 12. Panel members will decide if there is a case to answer if the 35-year-old Englishman has denied the charges or the scale of punishment if he has admitted to placing the bets. An SFA spokesman said: "Mr Simonsen has responded and that will be factored into the judicial panel hearing when they meet. That's all we can say as this is a live case."     Nobody said you should click on other things. I believe if you leave cookies clicked on you have to fill in passwords.

    Waw yes my pages come up when I just think about clicking. Obviously just kidding, the pages do open now far quicker especially the start-up page in my view. I would like to thank Zappa and Blueflag for putting in many hours the last few weeks optimalizing the site. I must not forget Frankie of course, without these guy's technical skills the site would not be what it is.

    Everyone totally agrees you have the right to say that you are not happy with them but we are nearly 24 hours further and you just keep saying the same thing on most threads. There is a lot to talk about other things about Rangers so it would be nice if you do for a while.

    Sorry Gordy these day's are far gone. The commercial interest has long overshadowed the sporting side of things. I would even say at player level games are thrown and yellow cards are recieved at certain times to keep the betting syndicates happy.

    I actually do see a safety risk with flags as you do get idiots who want to burn them. As a safety measure it may be better to stop people taking lighters or matches into the stadium. Clothes made in China?

    The funny thing is we have the SFA to thank for stopping Ashley geting his 29% of the club. I am not sure if the extra shares would have come from the already Ashley coloured shares but I hate to think what would have happened if he was allowed to have a large majority of the shares. I don't think there would have been any way back if that had happened.

    I agree mostly with what you say but I must admit saying our aim is to give Rangers fans a voice and then keep quiet is a bit strange. I don't think you can name a date to have a voice whether you have 10 or 10.000 members. I don't agree that a statement from all groups would have been a drama on the side. I do think it is better for King to keep quiet at this time until the EGM
