I don't see why it would bring him back. He sold the assets for a pound to Green and the Oldco was in the hands of the administrators. If we could get into the English league I think Green would be looking for a kings ransom for the assets.

From what I have read Rangers had the right to move their contracts to the Newco. Their case seems to be based on a technicality that Green did not communicate with them first. How can you measure communication? Green sent all players an email stating that their contracts were going to be transferred. In today's modern world an e-mail is a legal means of communication. How much communication is needed? Are there guidelines on that? I would certainly be looking to take legal advice to take legal action against the players. We will never get these players back, even if we wanted them back which is doubtful, but we should have a good case for compensation.

For the same reasons as you give I don't want Ferguson near Ibrox. I think he would also have walked away from the Newco as well but obviously that is just my opinion.
