  1. He did set up a goal in that game. I just think he needs to change his clan and become a McCulloch.
  2. We tried that but they just keep bouncing back under another subject.
  3. Girls please stop the senseless bickering.
  4. I think most people voted for Miller so I would say most people agree with you. I personally backed away from the argument as Boyd threads probably have more space on this website than any other subject. You hit the nail on the head when you said that Boyd only thinks of himself and that is how the Rangers team played at that time. I do SFA and you guys lay the chances on a plate for me. When Boyd was playing he was the only one scoring goals. The year after he left when Millar and Jelavic took over there were goals coming from everywhere, even the midfield. The dressing room mutiny against PLG was another point I have totally no respect for the guy and I still find it unfortunate Murray didn't have the balls to oust Ferguson and chums. We may even have been able to develop Charlie Adam ourselves in central midfield if Captain loser had not run the roost. Do I want him back. Not a chance! There are better players out there who can score and also play for the team. If Jelavic goes we can probably find 2 or 3 players for the money we get to form a team not to boost the ego of Kris Boyd.

  6. That point was brought up tonight on telly and they interviewed a top Lawyer. He said that it would be very unlikely if any prosecutor would burn his fingers on trying to make a case against the keeper. The fact that the hooligan instigated the whole situation and the short time between the kicks was enough to stop any criminal charges. The first kick would certainly be considered self defence and the second two kicks would be considered as a heat of the moment incident. If the time between the first kick and the other kicks was something like 5 minutes then they would be deemed premeditated and he could be charged. I hope this is understandable but I am not up in legal terms
  7. Yes it is raisin a few good points:facepalm:
  8. Update. The Dutch FA have cancelled the red card. It has become known that the hooligan already had a stadium ban and shouldn`t have been inside the ground at all.
  9. I am going to watch Twente play PSV tonight. Hopefully it is as good as the last meeting of the two teams and we get a full 90 minutes. It is the first time I have been to a Twente game since the new addition to the stand where the roof fell in. If I remember the camera I will try and put up some photo´s tonight or tomorrow.
  10. Not much trouble in or near the ground the most seems to be organised via the internet away from the ground. Utrecht supporters rioted last week against Twente after Twente supporters were supposed to have thrown fireworks into the Utrecht support. Later it was proven that the fireworks were firstly thrown from the Utrecht side and the Twente supporters had picked them up and returned them. As I said there were clashes with roughly 100 Utrecht supporters and the Police outside the ground. Feynoord supporters are probably the most mental and I witnessed it myself when I took my Scottish brother-in-law and his son to one of the last games at the old Twente stadium. Feynoord supporters started breaking out of their own enclosure and climbing into ours. Obviously the people sitting near the fence started to run. I was also getting geared up to run when thankfully the guy next to me advised us to stay in our seats. Shortly after the riot police came marching in and were just walloping anyone that was moving with their batons. They did get the problem sorted out thankfully but they were battering anyone and everyone whether they were just trying to get away or not. I suppose the end justifies the means.
  11. At this moment in time is it really important how much money CW has put in. Let's wait until after the tax case to see who or what. A good manager is sometimes worth more thsn
  12. It is one of these cases we can all understand that he done it and probably why he done it, but if it was right to do what he did then the answer must be no.
  13. The grey area is when the adrenaline kicks in. I find it very dangerous to say that someone who has lost control is in the right to hit out. Lets say my wife tries to punch me in the face. I stop her blow and then have a couple of punches at her. Am I then classed to be just defending myself. I find that a very doubtful defence to be honest.
  14. Craig that is exactly what I have been trying to say. How long is our luck going to hold out with the stupid decisions that are being made. It is clear to everyone except the people who matter that our shortcomings are flair and imagination in midfield. Why does Ally think that Papac or playing 8 defenders can supply that. As you say I find it very worrying
  15. Can't help but wonder if this was a Celtic star that had been attacked the photo would be of Ibrox or a generic Rangers fan. I am wanting to go on a trial diet in January maybe I should come across and throw stones at Celtic players cars.
  16. Craig you mean your glass is half full? You really need to drink quicker mate.
  17. Monica Seles was stabbed in the back by a supporter. I would say that it could not happen at football grounds because supporters are searched before entry but due to recent incidents in Holland of fireworks being thrown into the opposing supporters and my own experience at games they may stop you taking in a bazooka or a rocket launcher but it would be easy to get a knife in to a game.
  18. At that part of the ground they have built a platform in the safety moat so that handicapped supporters can be nearer the field of play. The hoolgan used this platform to enter the field. Unfortunately one of the consequences of this is that the handicapped supporters will have to be moved and the platform taken away.
  19. He is on his way home on the players bus and I don't think he will be arrested tonight but I do think the Police would have to charge him if a complaint is made. As the ref says he could have walked away.
  20. Latest. The Police have asked Estaban to put in an official complaint and he has agreed to do that. The hooligan will be kept overnight for questioning. I am just wondering what will happen if the hooligan puts in an official complaint against Estaban?
  21. The referee said he had to follow the letter of the law and give a red card. When the hooligan went to ground Estaban could have walked away but chose to kick the hooligan. He said he had no other option but to give red. It is now up to the KNVB to decide what is to happen with the rest of the game. Options. Game will start where it finished and the remaining time will be played with AZ having 10 men. Game will be replayed. Ajax who led 1-0 will be put through. Ajax will be thrown out due to not guaranteeing AZ's safety. The hooligan was thought to be drunk and stated to security that he couldn't stand the AZ keeper. Ajax stated that no matter what he will have a lifetime ban from the stadium.
  22. The Dutch cup game was abandoned tonight after an Ajax fan ran onto the pitch and tried to kick the AZ goalkeeper Esteban. Esaban managed to dodge the kick where the hooligan lost his footing. Estaban then had a couple of kicks at the hooligan who lay on the ground. To the shock of the AZ players the AZ keeper got a red card from the referee for kicking the hooligan. Gert-Jan Verbeek then refused to play further as he said the safety of his players could not be guaranteed. I will try and get a film later.
  23. To be honest one of WS better points was that he could mostly out-fox the Celtic manager and hit them with a surprise move. I am hoping that Ally is trying to do the same and come out blazing on all guns as we did in the second half at Ibrox. We live in hope.
  24. Craig, If we play to the best of our ability and lose the league I will be the first to congratulate the team and the manager for doing their best. If we lose the league by playing 8 defenders against the bottom team or because the manager puts out a team hoping to win a game rather than picking a team who are going out to try and win a game then I will be very upset. Celtic will win the league sometimes, but why have we gone from attacking teams on the front foot and scorching to a 15 point lead to super defensive play and losing points. Naismith is an easy excuse but the manager has changed our whole system to super defensive and that is costing us points.
  25. Just substantiates my point that there is not a lot between Rangers and Celtic money wise and certainly nothing for us to claim we have been the poorer team over the last few years.
