  1. Can someone explain to me why we just can't get back to playing F***ing football. P.s. Not aimed at you mate.
  2. Ha ha, what a turkey He chickened it and ducked. What a misdrake. Any more bird- shit like this he will be up before the beak and his goose will be cooked. What a dodo. Stone the crow.
  3. They are very good with a ball they have been making them for 15 years.
  4. It started with one-upmanship and ended in one- hellofamess. I must admit the idiots with their bullets and bombs done our club or supporters absolutely no favours at all. What were they thinking?
  5. I love the old films they bring back a lot of memories even things my father talked about. Young Waddle Thornton etc. Brilliant!
  6. I notice that Kerkar won the penalty when he was brought down in the box. He always seems to get mentioned for doing something good but yet never seems to be considered for the first team. Strange!
  7. Seriously I would think Shagger will be setting his heights far higher than the Greek league. I would imagine he will be looking for the EPL.
  8. Neither do I! A bit of training in the morning and then lying on the beach trying to dodge that big bad yellow ball in the sky, covering your eyes so as you don't have to look at all those half naked woman wandering about you. Naw give me sunny Scotland and the Glesga burds any day.
  9. I think that it is sometimes forgotten that Fleck is still a young player. He is still only 20 years old. It is only normal that a player starts maturing at 20\21. The pressure put on him to perform at such a young age can also have had a negative effect on his development. Personally I think he will come good but he may have to leave Rangers for it to happen. Sometimes a step backwards is a step forward. Obviously I hope he can come of age with us.
  10. Yes money talks on this universe and if the offer is 9or 10 mill then I afraid Whyte will be willing to let him go.We could offer 5mill for Stokes and Hooper and we may get Samaras thrown in for free.
  11. I guess it was done by mistake Ian,I can't see anything to lock it. I have merged your post into this one.
  12. Thanks mate, much appreciated again.
  13. 500k households for a population of only 5.5million is one hell of a big ask. An impossible amount I would think given that there are foreigners and a hell of a lot of people who don't like football. Out of the 5.5 mill there are roughly 2.4million households that means you are looking to get one fifth of all households. I think you would be struggling to get anywhere near 200.000 housholds. I know Holland need 750.000 households from 16 million people to cover the costs and are getting nowhere near that. After that you have your running costs. Judging on your 100pounds then you have 20mill. I really think you would struggle to break even on that. Now you have a guaranteed 14million per year for doing nothing. No worries no risks. Are you still so sure?
  14. Most people do a leading in story then talk about the team and who is injured and what the line-up may be then a word about the opposition followed by the team in emoticons that you think will play. It really is quite easy. You are free to adapt to your own style of course.
  15. Not really Rangers stuff but a part of the general topic I think.
  16. Are you guy's in the right thread or am I missing something?
  17. Now you are changing it to huge and massive. What is huge and massive? We are a well known and respected football club throughout the footballing world. We have supporters clubs on almost all of the continents. As in Barcelona and Manu etc, that fame is now because they are winning everything and will be remembered by this age group as my generation will remember Ajax and Bayeren Munich. Who outside Britain had heard of Chelsea 15 years ago. If you have lived or worked in 90+ countries then you can't have been there for very long to become an expert in everything, either that or you are very, very, old. You are not Santa Claus are you? I have shagged about 90 different woman and I still don't understand the cunts.
  18. If 500 supporters are marching from the train station to the stadium belting out their anthems is there anyone going to try and arrest them. It would probably be the police that were causing the disorder if they tried. I know it is a stupid statement but true in a practical sense.

    Sone Aluko?

I guess I am arguing when I don't really know the rules or if there are other precedents to judge on. Not really a good base to argue from I agree. I would imagine that there are many other precedents to judge on and Rangers will have a good idea of what they are. I just hope it does not end in another long drawn out tribunal.
  20. Disagree with you mate, while we may no longer be financial giants or feared by the bigger clubs in Europe our name and history is huge across Europe and certain parts of all the continents. We may not be a big name in Thailand but Thailand is not really well known in the realms of world football. India was a part of the British Commonwealth so there is a better chance we are better known in India as in Thailand, so you can't really compare what you do not know. Yes I agree I don't think selling merchandise will be a goldmine but I think you also forget that it is not really the people who are going to be buying from shoddy markets we would be aiming at, but the better off fans who would prefer to buy online. It is strange we are all complaining about not trying to become a world brand but where an opportunity may arise, some are ready to shoot it down even before it gets off the ground. The main reason to go there is to try and find a gem of a player before all the big teams saturate the market with scouts as is now the case in all well known football lands. For every professional youth team game in Holland there are hundreds of scouts from all over Europe taking in the games Rangers are casting a line in a smaller pond but who is to say there are no big fish in there? Is that not what we were pleading for them to do not so long ago? Finding a player who we can make a profit on is far more important than selling some football shirts which would only be a welcome sideline at most.

    Sone Aluko?

I am afraid it is just you mate.(maybe a few others) I would say that between 18 and 23 is probably the most important time in someone's development. What is wrong with giving him 1st team football is that not part of someone's development? I am afraid you are seeing this one through royal blue glasses mate but no matter how it hurts us Aberdeen have a right to a fee and as I said if the ball was on the other foot I would be looking for money from them.

    Sone Aluko?

Why are they trying to take the mickey? They are due money for his development up until he is 23. If we don't want to pay it then we should not sign him. I would want Rangers to get money for the players we release if a richer club signed them. There is of course no chance of getting money from Forfar or the likes.
  23. The Dutch football TV shows were pretty astonished to be honest. They have been building the Dutch team up as World beaters at u19 level and also at full international level. To see a lot of their dreams blow up in their faces in a week with the top team getting a lucky draw against Switzerland and a chance less 3-0 defeat against arch rivals Germany, the mood of being super EK champions has taken a bit of a bump. Added to that losing at U19 level to the Scots has them almost cutting their wrists. They couldn't believe that Scotland played with 2 wingers instead of the old kick and rush 4-4-2 style. They admitted that Scotland deserved to win and were sharper and more determined. As in the Dutch way of thought it was the Dutch playing bad and nothing to do with the Scots playing well. Hopefully we qualify in front of them then I will cut my pound of flesh.
  24. To be honest he said totally nothing about how Regan is linked to the Green brigade apart from knowing Lawwell. A bit of a red herring.
