I am glad now this has opened up but to be honest, speaking on a forum can do nothing to rectify matters. I would ask the people on the board at that time to rectify matters and find a mutual ground to support each other.Until these problems are out of the way we can never be united.

Sorry PLG i have never been a member of the trust or any other organisation so i have no idea what the subscription is or the membership. What i do want is that all the flogged horses are now brought out in the open and we as Rangers supporters can march as one unit to our goal. It is in the new young managers bible. Transparency rules the world.

Thanks for the post mate, that certainly opens up the issue for more debate and another insight to what went on. My thoughts on this though are that to have a mass resignation then something must have been wrong anyway. If this was a one of then everyone would have accepted the meeting was unfortunately nullified and a new date would have been made PM me a new name and i will see that it is changed for you. Pleas don't wait another three years to post.

I am happy that i have brought you to where you wanted to go. What i am unhappy about is that the RST have been split apart by the shadow's and mirrors that we have blamed David Murray with. Obviously 3000-4000 fans leaving the RST also got you to where you are happy Craig. Disappointing in my opinion even if you are right.

Sorry i have never read a real explanation about anything. I read speculation in the papers but never from the horse's mouth. Maybe i am missing something?

I am just a wee internet poster, a person hiding behind a keyboard, who never will have a reality voice, but only the honest are honest. The dishonest normally walk away with the rewards.

While we agree in general MF this is not for Frankie to come out on his own on this. This has to do with the RST and not the Gersnet. What i will say and i honestly believe is that it is not too late for these people and the RST current board to start looking where the earthquake line was and for discussions to happen to get everyone united again. If we really want everyone on board then the RST have to realise that the public opinion is so much against them that they have to try and turn thing around. The split has to be repaired.

Sorry Craig that statement is such a dumper on what an organisation is set up for. If you agree good. If you don't then fuck off. Sorry that gives no hope for the future at all.

That is why we need to know the circumstances!

That is what i mean Craig if you take on the responsibility for representing 5000 people then you should fight to the end to represent them and not leave the ball park open for a few pirates who have fought their way on to the board. Fighting from within is more of an option than walking away with your tail between your legs imo.

The fact is this should have been fought out and cleared 18 months ago. Resigning is the easy way out. The people who resigned should have then resigned and put in a motion for a vote of no confidence to the members. I don't know the rules to do that but to resign because you don't agree and leave the ball park open to the things you don't agree with seems stupid to me.

I totally agree with you if it is just a normal resignation but if these people have accepted the responsibility to represent 5000 supporters and do so for a number of years then surely when something happens that upsets the daily running of things enough for them to resign, then they also have the responsibility to explain their motives to the people who voted them on to represent them. My opinion.

Disagree totally Craig the people who made the action should clarify their motives. The people on the RST board are sitting pretty, why in gods-name will they come out say they were wrong. I don't want to put any pressure on Frankie but i feel this action has split the RST and i feel the seven should now stand up again and name the problems and say what it would take for them to get back on board and pull the support together. Yes this could backfire but when David Murray offered a place on the board to one of these people and a reputed 2-4000 people resigned their membership(assumption not knowledge) then they must have been doing something right. The seven and the RST have to get together and look for a way forward. Out of sight is not always out of mind. I will also add i have never been a member of the trust so i really have no right to speak.

Are you at Frasers Girlfriends house?
-
I can only give my opinion and that is what i have read on the press reports above and that the RST have nose dived in popularity : David Murray and the Rangers board didn't want to work with Mark Dingwall. Will a new board think any different? As i have read the biggest hurdle in uniting the fans is Mark Dingwall. If i was him and i wanted the best for Rangers and the best way to unite the fans then i would step down and free the way for people who can take us forward. Personally i don't think he will because i feel he is driven by self-success. I don't know the man i am just looking at the best way to get the fans united behind this cause.

I will second that. Although these are very interesting times be it good or bad.

You said you did not know what i meant UCB in answer to the post above. The fact that it was over the resignations has now been further discussed. To further explain is the fact you stated I am sure before the resignations, i would have had the same assurances from the people who resigned. The fact is people tend to have a modus operandi and to trust anyone who has grabbed power by gaining support in the shadows worries me a lot. Enough to say you can assure me what you want but you only live in hope that lightning can't strike twice in the same place. Unfortunately Lightning can strike twice in the same place and that makes it hard for me to trust the people running the show at the RST. As i said i have never been a member, but the fact that so many members resigned their membership should have made the new board look for a vote of confidence before they warmed their bums in the boardroom.

I think they are putting in a protest that Hapoel were sectarian for singing Jewish songs.
-
Yes that was my point Craig, thanks. As i said i shouldn't really get involved in these arguments as i don't know enough about them.
-
I would love to believe you Craig but how often have we been 2-3 up and not brought on a youth player. Sorry that story doesn't wash with me.

Why did so many of the RST board resign last year?
-
What worries me with your statement, and i have no knowledge of what actually went on, is that a handful of people could force a large number of the RST board members to step down and stay in power without calling for a vote of non-confidence. Then the said members stay in control of the RST without putting it to a vote. As i say i don't know what went on but this is the message i have envisaged. This gives me little confidence to put people in power who have got there through dictator antics. As i say this is looking from the outside in.

When you are 3-0 up against Killie i am sure you could put some trust in young players to play a half hour without losing a three goal lead. I don't mean three at a time just one now and again.
