Unfortunately we have to play players out of position as the players Walter Smith has bought were not for the positions we needed. He bought strikers and centre-halfs instead of a good wing-back. Only in day's of pure need and with no other option did he strengthen the midfield. If he had have bought Davis a few weeks earlier we may have been playing Cuellor and Boogie together. (What a dream)

Good point Cal. I would imagine that in fan control that all organisations would then fall under a new one club umbrella. I have no problem with who is the vehicle that gets fan control but i do believe that no matter who gets us there has no right to a guaranteed place on any new board. An election for board members should made as soon as possible after everything is up and running. Unfortunately i feel that many fans including myself will be falling by the wayside if the acquired amount is 1000 pounds per year. I simply can't afford it! That would again bring up the discussion of two types of membership as i feel it would be stupid to bar people who want to pay a fee more in the region of 100 pounds a year. I would be happy to accept a donors vote as i would not expect the same voting rights as someone who has paid 1000 pounds. There goes the one man one vote again.

I have been saying that for years now and to be honest i believe that PLG was trying to change that. Unfortunately the club decided they would rather watch 11 traffic cones stuck to one spot rather than give PLG time to finish the job. Hopefully the next manager wants to play passing football.

Cal it is easy for you to sit in your armchair with your wine in your hand and spout this false optimism, based more on hope than the product package, to everyone. These guy's are paying 300-600 pound a year for a season ticket to watch a B-class product. If we have fallen so far back that we are at low championship or third tear English level then the supporters should be paying an honest price for that product.
