  1. Did i hear right on the radio that he has gone over the 15 point mark or will do if he gets booked. I hope we don't have to miss him for 2 games. If he does we should appeal jut to let him play in at least 2 or 3 games. The SPL will probably hold a midnight meating to suspend him though.
  2. Sounded like an excellent atmosphere on the radio and Chick Young said it is the best in years. Well done guy's for getting right behind the team. PS it should always be like that.
  3. It's Squeaky Bum Time Mine was Squeaking so much i thought the pied piper of hamlin was attacking it.
  4. Cal i don't think celtic are setting a precedent,or at least they don't think they will be. I honestly believe Celtic will change corners for next season and be fighting for games to be cancelled for teams reaching Euro finals. It just suited their cause this year as did the death of Phil O Donnel.
  5. Agree 100% with Craig and Cal. Badge pumping doesn't really bother me but i just don't see him as an improvement, and i think Cousin is a far better player. He did little for us first time round and did little at Torbett towers. I don't think he done much at Derby either so it is a big NOOOOO for me.
  6. I don't know\think there is a widespread conspiracy but i do think McGee left them out on Purpose. They could afford to drop these 3 points. As these players also want to play in Europe they will also be up for the fight against us even although they are Rangers Orientated. I hope McGhee's tactics backfire and Dundee utd fuck them for the Europa place and we win the league.

    Taxi!!!

Taking a look back over the last few weeks Rangers qualified for the Scottish cup final by beating St Johnstone in the semi-final. If St Johnstone had gotten through to meet Queen of the South we would have had the first ever Old farm final. News coming out of Parkhead was that Artur Boruc had auditioned for the BBC West-end talent search Ill do anything. He heard they were looking for the right Nancy. Wee Gordy fancied himself as the artful dodger. And Peter Lawwell could be Fagin. Artur Boruc has applied for planning permission to build a completely round house. Seemingly after the old firm game he has developed a fear of corners. Jan Venegoor of Hesselink has become known as Jan Vinegar of Castlemilk. After the last two old firm Games, Assault and Vinegar would be more appropriate. After the last old firm match a link has been made between the MurphyS and the Cambells. Neither will wave at a McDonald. Steven Whitteker was looking for a Brazilian name after his goal against Sporting Lisbon. He came up with Daya. It makes him Whitt daya ker. Talking about Brazilians, Ronaldo has made himself one of the hottest properties in Europe. Seemingly he can keep three men busy in little room. David Murray had asked the SPL to cancel Saturdays game against Dundee utd at the weekend, in the light that Zenit St Petersburg had games cancelled before the UEFA final. He was turned down. I guess the Russians had a better Advocaat. A primary teacher starts a new job at a school near Parkhead and, trying to make a good impression on her first day, explains to her class that she is a Celtic Supporter. She asks her class to raise their hands if they, too, are Celtic supporters. Everyone in the class raises their hand except one little girl. The teacher looks at the girl with surprise and says: "Mary, why didn't you raise your hand?" "Because I'm not a Celtic supporter," she replied. The teacher, still shocked, asked: "Well, if you're not a Celtic supporter, then who are you a fan of?" "I'm a Rangers supporter, and proud of it," Mary replied. The teacher could not believe her ears. "Mary, why are you a rangers supporter?" My mum and dad were born and raised in Govan, so my mum is a Rangers fan and my dad is a Rangers fan, and so I'm a Rangers fan too!" "Well," said the teacher, in an obviously annoyed tone, "that's no reason for you to be a Rangers supporter. You don't have to be just like your parents all of the time. What if your mum was a prostitute, your dad was a drug addict, and your brother was a car thief, what would you be then?" "Then," Mary said, "I'd be a Celtic supporter." The old ones are the best. Taxi!!!!
  8. That is why i said they would need a bit more time Craig. Surely if the tie was at the end of May 3 or 4 weeks is plenty of time. They can rearrange an old firm game in two weeks and look at the policing that takes. They could even have a short-list that could have essentials in place before the time.
  9. Derby striker Kenny Miller is set to leave the club and return to Rangers, who will pay £2m for him. (Daily Star) I know this has been well discussed and i hope it won't happen but it just will not go away. If he does come, what will be the fans treatment of him? Will they get behind him or is he on to a loser from day 1?
  10. Personally i think the deployment of the ground should be made once the finalists are known. Manu-chelsea in Moscow just seems silly to me. The airlines are laughing their heads off. Rangers in Manchester in a park that only holds 48.000 while Wembley or Old Trafford are lying empty.I understand that it will not be fair to always have it at the same grounds but a certain degree of flexibility would be better. Yes they may need a few more weeks to organise it but it would give supporters a better deal.
  11. Gordon Strachen made a great statement earlier in the year amongst his normal drivel. If you are angry then you have to run faster, jump higher and fight harder. This is what we have to do. No point in worrying about decisions that have gone in the past. The ball is still in our court we just have to keep hitting winners.
  12. It is also funny that the Referee who gave Nakamura the free kick against St Mirren travelled with the Celtic team as guest on their Airplane to Barcelona. They say a commentator should be neutral. Let us begin by getting neutral referee's.
  13. Entry Free. Is Murray becoming a big softy.
  14. You know it makes sense. If Manchester police\Council do not wise up then i see Barcelona 72 happening again. the only way to stop Rangers supporters going down will be to close the border, surely that is not an option in this day and age. As has been said they must operate communal area's and let the Glasgow police, police it with help from the Manchester police. A friendly atmosphere has to start with the police.

    Dick Advocaat

Yeh, He said it puts hair on your head.

    Dick Advocaat

That is so.And my point completely. he was the one Bullshiting i love Rangers i never put those words in his mouth. Dick Advocaat only loves himself.

    Dick Advocaat

Yes but he makes agreements and then plays one side against the other to make a better offer. He even left a hotel in the middle of the night to be on a plane before the football bond of that country realised he was gone. Believe me Dick Advocaat only loves Dick Advocaat. He had made an agreement to manage the Australian team but backed out when Zenit doubled his wages. I have no problem with him staying on at Zenit but don't make agreements you are not going to keep.
  18. I was just meaning the league situation. How they claimed the Euro run cost them the league by burning them out. We were ten points behind as far as i can remember and it dwindled away until Helicopter Sunday. I would hate to see them get that pleasure.

    Predictions

Shit don't know just praying. Got to go and work on my boat so i can't follow it. I will be pressing my bum together until i come home at about 5pm. Come on the Gers don't drop at the first hurdle. I still wish we had a better goal difference to afford 2 draws as i think that might be the difference.
  20. Unfortunately the memory of the Tims run for the Uefa is still in our memory and we're comparing us to that scenario. I will go for the Lightening never strikes twice scenario and put us in to win the treble. I think Zenit will be too strong for us on a one game basis.
  21. Are you Law bound to carry identification in Britain? If not then there is no way they can prove you are not that person. Personally i think the police and stewards will be more interested in other things than whose name is on a ticket. I don't see any problems as long as the ticket is legit.

    Match Previews

Sorry Gribz never seen this until now. Excuses. I will put a Taxi on to make up for it. 1000 pardons.
  23. I would imagine there will be a big party on Thursday. I doubt if the team will come back so late on Wednesday. Welcome mate!
  24. I was also for the SPL a few weeks ago but the financial rewards of winning the UEFA far outweigh winning the SPL. Money for the winner, the super cup monies and the sale of shirts over Europe will bring in millions to the club. Obviously i hope both but if i must choose one then it is now the UEFA.

    Dick Advocaat

The only thing that Dick Advocaat loves is money to spend. When the money at Rangers was running dry Dick was running away.Time and again he has left clubs or countries in the lurch because someone promised him more. Dick Advocaat loves Dick Advocaat the rest is valueless words.
