  1. Problem is there's no parents.
  2. Pity we can't work together on it.
  3. Zaps, I think it was more than obvious that this was my intention. To highlight the splits. In fact, well done on noticing the point?!
  4. This thread, as reasonably debated as it has been, just highlights the splits. I don't know who came up with Rangersfamily; possibly some well-intentioned individual trying to bring us all together after we went into admin - but the factions, disagreements, divides, arguments, squabbles and in places personal insults show there really isn't one. We're not bad people by any stretch, but there's no family. Just some distant relatives who support the same cause but completely stubbornly disagree on how to get there.
  5. I was going to blog about it, but thought better of it given I felt it would just add to the disharmony. Demo aside, our support is completely fractured right now - the infighting in the last 3 or so months has been ridiculous. We all want what's best for Rangers, but we all disagree on what or who that is. And the conflicts in opinion which are getting personal are really troubling. And very few of us have managed to keep out of it, and I hold my hands up. News tonight has made it even worse. This support isn't much of a family at all right now.
  6. PS: does it not bother you Casey that some of our fans have behaved derogatorily towards Americans? Not realising that they're including 3 of our players?
  7. Again, you're holding your view as the word of God. These are all opinions, including mine.
  8. You know what's utterly ridiculous. Beyond your obviously superior tone where you seem to be portraying your view as some sort of benchmark we should all aspire to, you seem to think there would be some bid out there that CLEARLY was obvious in its intentions. A bid that when we heard about it we all instantly knew *that* is the RIGHT owner for this club. That is impossible. Of course it is. Have I learned lessons? The one is that if you can't find much out about a bidder's business history, they might not be the most credible suitor. Wasn't the case with Miller, not at all. Ok, now feel free to patronise me/us all with something else. btw, I take it you're NOT desperate for someone to take us over?
  9. What a load of utter crap! I see myself as witnessing the slow death of Rangers, and being desperate for SOMEONE to take it over. So when someone IS about to takeover and some bears decide xenophobia is the best way to stop it, while also smearing 3 of our own players, 'that attitude gets on my tits and I'll say so'.
  10. So you are not in favour of TBK?
  11. Are you another in favour of TBK?
  12. They're not entitled to an opinion which may have destroyed our club's well being. Moral guardian my arse - you sound like a TBK mouthpiece who agrees with those banners.
  13. It's highly disturbing that fans would slag the guy off when he's trying to take the club over. Also more extraordinary is 3 Americans already play for us. The banners, whether they were what put Miller off or not, are from those I consider not to be Rangers supporters.
  14. Yeah, was looking at the paper section today and there was a story about some American who doesn't understand why Miller is interested in us. Daily Record. I didn't even do it the dignity of investigating, let alone buy it. I just won't buy newspapers now.
  15. He's not stupid but he appears to have lapped up the press. Seems to think EBTs are illegal.
  16. Just spoke with a Falkirk fan who wants us relegated for not paying our taxes.
  17. http://ibroxnoise.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/is-it-all-about-money-money-money.html I'll just shamelessly whore my Miller blog in here.
  18. Little I disagree with but it doesn't address why Miller is interested. It's very mysterious.
  19. No, I was only saying his intentions were genuine and serious. I didn't assume he would be successful in his bid.
  20. This is a very naive post. No businessman gets involved in a takeover venture like this purely to 'look good' - there is always some financial reason, some business purpose to doing so. I've literally never heard of the notion of someone bidding to take over a football team purely on the grounds of wanting people to like him.
  21. What does Brian Kennedy stand to gain from the publicity his temporary association with Rangers would create?
  22. He did submit 2 bids. More than Ng did. I think you're doing the guy a disservice.
  23. Seems I am the only critic! Oh well, I will sit alone at my own table reading a newspaper
  24. But he rarely even tried!
  25. I'm not sure what point you are trying to make.
