  1. I have to say, when we were sitting during the protest it really hit home how quiet Ibrox is and how I now could not sit anywhere else in Ibrox other than in the singing section.I remember when we decided to move from the Copland road stand to join TBO and I must admit I was very apprehensive about the move, but as I said, now I wouldn't sit anywhere else as the atmosphere in that section is superb.I never knew anything about the protest until I was in my seat and I wasn't sure if what was planned was right, the plan was to sit down and shut up until the 54th minute, then stand up and sing,if any fan was removed then we were all going to walk out.Now I didn't like that idea at first as I wanted to support the team as always but I must admit I was ready to walk when we sat still until the 54th minute, and then I really thought if fans were removed from the stadium and I walked I would seriously think about giving up my season ticket. A bit meladramatic but I did think this was going to be the end for me attending Ibrox,if we can't go there and sing and enjoy ourselves then what is the point?. I also don't think this is finished,I hope it is,but if this keeps going the way it is then I will give up my season ticket
  2. Where is this statement?
  3. The thing is though, this was a home game against Killie, there was never going to be any trouble and yet all this because of a bottle of water ffs.Where are all the stewards & police when the BHEASTS are in town with their flares, wrecking seats ect;?. You would think the guy had comitted murder!!!!. I'll say it again he should not be banned and if he is then the police officer who allowed him in with his bottle should be sacked along with the fat aggressive steward.Mountain out of a mole hill.
  4. Agreed, however I would hazzard a guess that if you had a video camera in the face of a police officer they would tell you to stop filming???,maybe not.
  5. I know that. What I was reffering to was each case should be looked at individualy with regards to any ban handed out.The guy should not be banned for having a bottle of water especialy when his bagged had already been searched.
  6. I thought I did say that?,kinda:)
  7. I think the whole episode was created by heavy handedness as I said at the time.We all know you're not allowed into the game with a bottle so the guy should not have taken it in,but it was a bottle of water!!!,and he had already been searched and allowed in with it so why should he get banned for it?.
  8. I posted this in TBO/UB statement thread, but thought it deserves a thread of it's own. Admin can delete this thread if they disagree. Hi everyone, ****** has kindly let me post on this, I'm actually the boy who had the water bottle. I had came straight from work still in my shirt, tie and had the water in my bag, My bag was emptied at the turnstiles where the police allowed me to continue into the ground with the water in my bag, The policeman watched over by a steward emptied my bag and said everything that was in it was OK to go in with. At half time i took a drink of the water and 10 or so mins later the stewards and police made there way into the rows throwing there weight around telling me to "get the feck over here" i then tried to make my way to the stewards but as i done this members of the UB started to pull me away as they saw i was about to be arrested! The steward then started pushing people over and even man handled a female sitting in front of me, as this happened i ended up 4 rows up! when i was caught and took to the room the steward was violent and aggressive towards me and a fellow fan claiming we were insulting his intelligence and we should speak when asked to speak, The policeman who took my details was the policeman who searched my bag. My season card was confiscated and i was told i would find out in the next 3 days whats happening, Yesterday whilst i was at work Head of security at Ibrox informed my mum that i would not be getting my season ticket back and i would face a ban under the account of the following " bringing a bottle of water into the ground which led to a breach which could causee a disaster and for then resisting arrest whilst making dirogitry comments about the government and the police" My mum said to him that i was approved entry with the bottle and asked to view the CCTV and the head of security then replied that CCTV would not be available and there will be no further action if i accept my punishment and serve my ban and if i wish to appeal CCTV will not be used as evidence for some reason i do not know? and that I will be charged by the club for breaking the rule of bringing in controlled containers and causing a breach/disturbance/upset whiten the crowed and for also resisting arrest. Just wanted you guys to know the real story!

  10. Fixed that for you:smile:
  11. At the end of the day it's all about the champions and how they approach every game as we can beat every team in the league,no doubt, application from the players is key to winning. We are playing well so hopefully we continue playing well.
  12. True. As I said though he got this problem sorted I believe??. He has one leg longer than the other I think and this has been the source of his injuries,I also think he has a specially adjust boot to wear to compensate this. Fingers crossed for this guy.
  13. Aye,I think that is everyones worry, having said that he got his original problem sorted out, this injury was seperate. I think we all hope he is over his injuries and starts to make the impact like we all know he can.
  14. Not yet anyway???
  15. Jamie Ness admits his battle is only just beginning as he makes his next step on the road to recovery after a month on the sidelines. The midfielder joined Davie Weir, Lee McCulloch, Matt McKay and Alejandro Bedoya in action as Rangers beat Gateshead 4-0 in a bounce game at Murray Park on Wednesday. Ness has endured a torrid time with injuries so far this season and despite getting close to a return to full fitness, he faces an even stiffer challenge to oust in-form duo Steven Davis and Mo Edu from the Gersâ?? starting line-up. He said: â??You saw on Tuesday night that Mo got man-of-the-match and Davo was just his usual self so itâ??s going to be really tough to try to get back in that midfield. â??But Lee McCulloch and I will be doing our best to try to push our way in. â??There are only a couple of boys injured now and we have a big squad so the guys in the first team know that they will have to keep performing and winning games to stay in the team. â??Today was a good opportunity to get a strong team out because we have a bigger squad now and a lot of boys coming back from injury so it was good to get a run out. â??Thatâ??s my first game since the match at Inverness six weeks ago so Iâ??m just delighted to be back playing. â??Thatâ??s what I need now, to get some game time under my belt and improve my match fitness. â??There are a lot of reserve games coming up and hopefully if I can do well in those I can force my way back in to the managerâ??s plans.â? Injuries curtailed Nessâ??s progression last season after he burst onto the scene under former Ibrox boss Walter Smith. He has made just one appearance for Ally McCoist this term after being crocked during the championsâ?? 2-0 win over Inverness Caley Thistle in August. Rangers, meanwhile, could extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premier League to 10 points when they face Hibs on Saturday and Ness is eager to be involved as soon as possible. He said: â??Saturday will be up to the manager. I got through 45 minutes today fine so itâ??s down to the manager and the medical team to decide about the weekend. â??Itâ??s been a long six weeks and very frustrating for me to be injured again. I think thatâ??s me over it now and Iâ??m just looking forward to getting back out there. â??It was a completely freak incident in the Inverness game that injured me. It was just a bang on the hip that caused a problem and it was nothing to do with previous injuries.â? http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/editor-s-picks/jamie-ness-ready-to-fight-for-a-place-1.1126703
  16. Now now Craig,he said HE couldn't split me and Johnny up,but you're in with a shout:thup:
  17. For once we agree on something.
  18. He plays a bit like Davis, although not as good as Davis,he likes to keep things nice and easy and tidy,he does get up and down the pitch, from what I've seen of him anyway
  19. I never for second thought you were aiming anything at me,or anyone else for that matter. You asked the question '' does anyone buy or visit their web sites?'',when clearly people do visit their web sites as you are posting on a thread about an article from the Sun!!!!,that is all. I think once again you got the wrong end of the stick.
  20. Your original post was quite stupid as obviously people do visit their web sites otherwise you wouldn't need to ask the question ''does anybody visit their web sites?''. The childish rant bit was about me being paranoid. What makes me paranoid?.
  21. He picked up a wee injury,I think he is fit and available now though??
  22. HA!HA!,here we go again with your childish, petty rants. That's me cringeworthy and paranoid now, according to you.You do make me laugh, grow up and don't reply to my posts please.
  23. It wasn't bad mate,I thought we played well in the first half but the killer touch was missing, easy enough win and a good performance
  24. Aye,obviously I still visit thier web sites!!,otherwise you wouldn't be on this thread asking the question. Also you yourself has posted wrag articles have you not?.Where else will we get the gossip?.
  25. There clearly needs to be more dialogue between the police, stewards,Rangers FC & TBO/UB section. That section is always jumping, singing, displaying banners and must be very difficult for a steward or the police to get in and speak to someone if they feel the need to do so,to try and barge your way in to get someone is only creating an hostel atmosphere and will of course get a reaction from the other fans in that section as they have no idea why this is happening.
