Agree with Cammy here, this is the point i'm trying to make, yes we all want theses idiots who continually sing banned songs nowhere near Ibrox, but for me the bigger picture is worrying, we need the club to stand up and defend us, ON EVERY ISSUE, and not just be dictated to,once they have thier way with songs, what's next?, this relates to my other posts about breaking rules, my question is who's rules are they?,although it's looking likely we'll be banned i think it's a dsgrace that we should be banned for singing songs when you see what is happening in other countries, Spain, Itay etc;

Nah,it's no you mate, it's Buffel tha's lost the plot,the reason he's not playing is he's too good for Rangers and the SPL

I also agree with Calscot, the point i'm making is it seems like we're sitting ducks waiting to be shot at, once any rule is passed then of course we have to adhere to it, but i don't see the club, unlike the RST, coming out and trying to defend the fans on anything that is being thrown at us by the media, the yobs that continue to chant songs when they have been told not to have to be stopped, but all the other shit that is coming at us is wrong and the club should be fighting our corner, my point on flags,UF IN PARTICULAR, are being said from some quarters that they shouldn't be flown, so if we can't fly the UF as it is seen as offensive to others then i'm sorry but that problem is not ours and i would like to think the UF will be defended by the club

If UEFA ban something else, flags for instance, then again we can grumble about it but we have to follow the rules. Agree with you, except this quote, there some things you have to fight for, don't think it's the flags anyway, but what's written on them

Thomas Buffel has revealed his intention to quit Rangers and ply his trade in a stronger league. The 26-year-old is under contract at Ibrox through 2009, but is keen to move on, possibly as early as the summer. Buffel, who was close to joining Hannover in January, will not feature for The Gers again this season after undergoing knee surgery. "I have played more than 80 games for Rangers over the past two years and I have won the league and League Cup," Buffel said in the Daily Record. "But I still have the ambition to play my football in a stronger league. "I had the chance to play in the Bundesliga in January and I could have earned more money there than I do in Scotland. "But I felt that I should not start out with a new club when I am not fully fit. "Had the situation been different I might have moved although there was a real chance that Rangers might not have let me go." Meanwhile, Buffel is disappointed with how things have gone for him since Walter Smith took over from Paul Le Guen. He added: "Sometimes your career depends on details. We all know it's C****c fans that are doing all the complaining and e-mailing the media and UEFA, but the bottom line is WE HAVE TO SELF POLICE, other than that i don't see what else we can do, but we also need SDM to come out and highlight other clubs problems and make everybody aware that we are not the only club with problems

I said that to my mate on Saturday,before the sheep game, that Ibrox officials should refuse away tickets for a season or so, self imposed ban,that would go down well with UEFA and would stop the problem instantly, the only thing wrong with that is the good away fans are going to suffer, i would even consider it in the SPL, that would hit the other clubs hard financialy and as they all hate us then it would also show them that they need us, however if that doesn't happen then i reckon UEFA will implement it
