  1. Erol Bulut,32 year old left mid from Olympiakos is at Murray park this week on trial, don't know much about him ????
  2. I think next season is massive and will determine if a lot of fans think about not going to Ibrox, there has to be sufficient money made available and spent well or there are going to be some rteaction from the fans, how much can we, should we take.WS is the man that is under pressure now.
  3. I also think that finishing second is no bad thing if we have been playing well and challenging for the title and cups, only to beat by a better team. But the main problem has been that we have been shite for a while, nowhere near competing
  4. I don't think we will ever find out what went on and IMO i don't buy into the rumours, maybe these things did happen but i don't think you can base PLGs failure on that alone, i honetly think he under estimated the Rangers job and the SPL along with his poor english, so there are a lot of reasons why he failed, but again will we ever hear the truth ?
  5. Aye a great professional, young players should take a look at him and see how to look after themselves and go about their work.
  6. Don't see why not, Wier,Ugo,Brewster & Latapy to name a few
  7. He should be ok, Boyd still gets the goals with the current crop of players, so if he's that good then i don't see much of a problem
  8. Manchester City have joined the race to sign £3m-rated Leeds striker David Healy. (The Daily Mirror)
  9. Thomas Buffel has outlined his determination to stay at Rangers, insisting he is not looking to leave Ibrox. The Belgium international was offered the chance to move on in January after Gers accepted a bid from Bundesliga side Hannover. Buffel was unable to agree personal terms and was subsequently ruled out until next season after undergoing a knee operation. He has been linked with a summer return to Belgium, along with a switch to AZ Alkmaar, but the midfielder is adamant he wants to be part of Walter Smith's plans. "I have no intention of leaving the club, contrary to what you might read," Buffel told Rangers News. "When I was back home I did an interview and they asked me if I would like to return to Belgium to play for Anderlecht or Brugge, but I said 'no, I am happy at Rangers'. "I also said moving there from Rangers would be a step backwards and that I really want to stay at Ibrox. "I added that I still wanted to achieve nice things with Rangers and felt I could make a good contribution when fully fit. "If an offer comes in and it suits both parties, then you have to look at the situation, but that is the same for every player. "I am very happy here and keen to progress."
  10. Never knew that about Bardsley either, just shows how well Hutton is playing now as Bardsley wouldn't get a game at right back for us or Scotland as Hutton should be playing for Scotland as well
  11. Thought Bardsley was English ?
  12. Ambitious Swedish side Malmo FF are reportedly keen to land Birmingham striker Mikael Forssell. The former Chelsea man has only played 10 times this season as his career at St Andrews has been afflicted by yet more fitness problems. German side Hannover have already announced they are looking to bring the player back to the Bundesliga where he once enjoyed a successful spell with Borussia Monchengladbach. However, Malmo could yet rival Hannover for the 26-year-old's signature if Birmingham opt to cut their losses on the striker during the summer. The Swedish club are remaining coy though, with former Charlton striker Jonatan Johansson and ex-Liverpool star Jari Litmanen already on their books. "All skilled players are interesting for us," Malmo sports director Hasse Borg told fotbolldirekt.com. Always liked this player, but i don't know what's happened to him, injury prone ?
  13. As you know Gribz, i'm not a big fan of his, simply because i know he can play but he rarely does, but i will always give players support as long as they are putting in effort and trying to play to the best of their ability, so if he gets fit and gets back into the team and plays like he can then fine by me, still if we got a decent offer for him then for me he would be one i would be happy to cash in on
  14. Big Dado will know all about him, and you would think he would let WS know what kind of guy he is
  15. According to the official site today, he never said he wanted to leave and he has no intention of leaving, he is ahead of schedule in his bid to regain full fitness, he will sacrifice his summer to make sure he is fit for the start of the season and he is happy to stay at Ibrox
  16. Aye,doesn't fill me with confidence either, but TBH i don't know a lot about the guy
  17. Why would the press want to get rid of all the shit that is flying Rangers way, it just means they can sit back and pick up thier salaries for doing nothing, plus the fact it sells news papers !!!!!!
  18. ian1964

    Dire times

Agree with almost everything that has been said, but we do need to strengthen, with quality, and i'm not too optomistic about getting the cash that we need to do this, but WS is a man i think can attract decent players to come to Rangers with his good reputation, and to be honest C****c are not that good a side
  19. Well i wonder what songs are going to be sung today ?
  20. Aye, well done, he deserves it for his hard work and cosistency of performances
  21. Aye,fooked again, nae luck but there's always next week..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Sheff UTD to beat Newcastle 6/5 Dundee UTD to beat the sheep 7/2 Southampton to beat Luton evens A nice wee treble.....!!!!!!!
  23. That's the lazy biased Scottish press for you though mate, and i don't know what SDM is doing about it but all i heard from him was THE FANS WILL NEED TO BEHAVE...............!!!!
  24. Aye,it's only the Scottish, football experts, press that say these teams are shite..............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  25. I seem to remember somebody on here saying the RST should try and get in touch with the Man ure supporters club and maybe back each other up on this issue, not a bad idea and would maybe help our cause a wee bit
