  1. Got our away goal now get at least one more and a shutout and I will consider it almost tied up.
  2. I doubt it would be on any game percentage in this particular match. This game is crucial to us and I think his own reputation is more important to Gerrard than any Liverpool game percentage. An impressive result in this game will greatly enhance that reputation.
  3. It’s hard to call because this is a new team and especially so tonight it’s going to contain players who haven’t appeared before. Could go a number of ways but obviously I’m hoping for us to swamp and crush them. It really wouldn’t surprise me if we did but then again it also wouldn’t surprise me if we toiled. At least one away goal should be a major objective.
  4. I’m working. Going to need some commentary.
  5. Yes indeed and a further difference to the light in Scotland is that when it's becoming night that's a very gradual process. In Oklahoma which is further South and nearer the equator the transition from daylight to dark is much faster. You can watch the light begin to fade here then 10 minutes later it's dark. In Scotland that process is much much slower.
  6. Have to agree with that. While McCrorie does have potential he's not there yet and this game is crucial. He can get into the team for further development in less urgent circumstances.
  7. Time will tell. I'm no footballing valuation expert but if he goes i'm more than confident it will be for well in excess of 300K. Bill Young has been cited in another article regarding this West Ham link as being a normally reliable source.
  8. Windass to West Ham Rumour According to the Scottish journalist, Bill Young, as cited by This Is Futbol, West Ham are poised to complete the signing of Josh Windass from Rangers before the conclusion of the transfer window. Young has said that the midfielder will move to the London Stadium for a fee in the region of £4M, the 24-year-old enjoyed a tremendous season for Rangers last campaign, scoring 18 goals in all competitions. Verdict: For a fee of £4M, the potential transfer is a low-risk, high-reward, deal. If Windass is able to emulate his goal-scoring antics in the Premier League, then a £4M would represent a bargain for the club. However, if Windass is unable to thrive in England’s top-flight, then it’s likely that we’ll be able to accumulate a good fee for his services. https://westham.vitalfootball.co.uk/senseless-signing-west-ham-fans-seriously-unconvinced-with-18-goal-ace/
  9. Actually for super safety make that a dome over it.
  10. So it's becoming apparent that you and him are the origin of our poor home form last season. You both need exile to Elba and a wall built around it.
  11. Seems we were posting about this almost simultaneously. It's been happening to me all day.
  12. Apparently it was initially going to be Elba but since Napoleon manged to escape that one a more distant location was chosen. And yet he still manages to get back and jinx it before being thrown out again. He reputedly jinxed us out of a second place finish by turning up at Ibrox for the first game with hubz last season which then proceeded to fall apart in countless ways. That 3 points would have got us second spot.
  13. Craig knows one when he sees one because he has that power too. He only needs to turn up at Ibrox and a contrary result invariably follows.
  14. I'm seeing a lot of this today when clicking on various forum links. I hit the back button then try again and it usually works on the second attempt but it's happening a lot. I'm on a PC running windows 10.
  15. Umar Sadiq: At 6ft 3in he provides a towering presence in the box, but this is paired with excellent technique and good finishing ability. The 21-year-old has been described by former teammates as unpredictable and awkward to play against and his speed and physicality could make him a good match for the Scottish game.
  16. Maybe not quite. Windass can be good then drift out of a match and once he's drifted out he's not coming back in. Seems this boy will always be in the match but can be maddeningly inconsistent as he goes from remarkable to woeful and back again. I scoured a lot of articles about him and though he may frustrate us at times I feel he's going to produce some classic moments on a regular basis along with his flawed moments which hopefully can be reduced by training that out of him. All commentators say he's highly unpredictable and very difficult to play against.
  17. His manager at NAC Breda last season said that he needs to train harder though I don't think he was necessarily talking about lack of fitness. More along the lines of inconsistent performance in a single game. Apparently he can fluctuate between world class and woeful then back again all through a game.
  18. Somewhat similar in Oklahoma. We get days in the 70's and 80's right into December but I have grown to dislike it. The humidity here is horrific. I never though I would find myself missing a good cold Scottish rain but I often do. I took this in the car a few days ago. This was the outside temperature.
  19. Simply looking at future opposition or do Motherwell have anything we would be remotely interested in? Lot of note taking going on.
  20. Mild in comparison to much of the insanity I have seen on their forums and those of others. But being thrown into chaos due to getting a home game against us on the first day of the season is a new one on me. Most if not all would be happy with that because it gives them a better chance to get 2 home games against us while collecting the financial rewards from that. The sheep have been whining that on the Thursday night before we play them we have an 'easy' home tie while they have a hard away tie having to travel to the furthest reaches of darkest Lancashire. One of them opined that he had watched the first half against Shkupi and that we had looked much stronger and pretty formidable but he was quickly shouted down. They don't want to acknowledge the fact that we have spent more money on single players than they will in total over multiple seasons.
  21. The blob is like a turd that just wont flush. Will we ever get him out of our pockets. He's turned it into a personal vendetta and would probably lose money just to keep throwing a spanner in our works.
  22. Would have been interesting to see him paired with Morelos. Couple of bruisers tanking their way through.
  23. Might be the third CB we're looking for with the additional benefit of being more versatile than simply a CB.
  24. Motherwell away third game of the season Sunday August 26th.
