  1. And a yahoo fan response to it? So burning pyrotechnics which can cause severe lifelong injuries is OK but singing ****** is deplorable.
  2. So how about this. Yahoos in Sweden tonight.
  3. Only team in the SPL undefeated across all competitions.
  4. I was actually thinking winning the league but chances are this will have an effect on any further signings before the window closes.
  5. I'm hearing yahoos in pot 2 Rangers in pot 4. I don't care. We're there and will get the money. And i'm not impressed by the yahoo result. Midtjylland were a better team than what they played tonight.
  6. So the money is banked, now we can focus on the real task.
  7. There should be arrests for that far less UEFA sanctions, Freaking crazy lunatics.
  8. Further evidence if it were needed that we can't let Alfie go right now.
  9. All I could see was smoke. Could barely see the pitch at all and yes the first thought was this is bad if it's us.
  10. The flares. I have a poor stream and couldn't see where it was coming from.
  11. With Sunday in mind i'm glad this didn't go to extra time. Wondering if anybody else has made it from the first QR to groups twice in succession.
  12. Not enjoyable for me. Too much tension and the end is a relief. We made it. ?
  13. Just need to hold on now. They're certain to come out and go for it.
  14. Is that coming from our lot or them?
  15. I can't believe these morons. They're determined to get the stadium closed.
  16. Same here, I listen to gersnet and 4 lads plus the record podcast. It gives a good analysis and balanced view.
  17. We appear to have earlier agreed that there is a segment who will simply not comply in which case they have to go or see the club lose millions in revenue and perhaps access to European competition. And the period of trying to reason with them has passed. UEFA clearly mean business this time. There is no leeway left. They either comply or be permanently ejected. As far as I can see that's the somewhere we have to start at now.
  18. Agreed which in my view not only makes them a liability the club can't afford but not legitimate fans in the full sense of the word. Legitimate fans put the interests of the club ahead of their own personal preferences when it comes to behaviour at games. These people clearly don't put the club first. That being the case they simply have to go if the club is ever going to reach previous heights. It's up to the club to decide how that is to be accomplished but it must be accomplished swiftly or we could lose badly needed millions of pounds in revenue. It could even cost us our manager who may ultimately decide he can't be linked to such activities.
  19. I think the final phrase in the link I posted above pretty much defines the situation regardless of who thinks what in terms of how fair or unfair it is. It's UEFA's game, end of story. We either want to be in European football or we don't. Personally I do and I know the board do. The phrase I mentioned is "This only ends one way" I would argue it can actually end two ways. Either compliance with their terms in which case we play in Europe or non compliance in which case we don't.
  20. Case of Linfield v UEFA must act as a warning for rogue Rangers fans Following a UEFA sanction and the resultant partial stadium closure last week, Rangers fans have been outspoken on the future direction of the club. Yet the club continues to be let down after they notified Rangers fans they will not be accepting away tickets to their next European match after yet another UEFA charge for behaviour against Legia. The club have made their stance clear – any kind of unacceptable behaviour, sectarian or otherwise, is not welcome at Ibrox. The sanction has been met with universal disappointment amongst the Rangers support and almost universal agreement that things have got to change. And for anyone thinking that simply changing the lyrics of banned songs will do the trick – Twitter user @Zeshankenzo has used precedent to explain why that simply won’t work. In this enlightening thread, the Twitter user discusses what happened when the closely aligned Linfield got themselves into trouble with UEFA for sectarian chanting. In a nutshell, the Northern Irish club into bother in 2016 for sectarian chanting and defended themselves to the absolute hilt. Much of their argument – amongst claims of inaudibility – concerned a change in lyrics of the song. It’s also worth pointing out – slightly different from the case of Rangers – Linfield had previously decried “all variations” of the song. This was held against them by UEFA. However, despite those claims, UEFA decried that it was in actual fact the message of the song and not the lyrics themselves which matter. UEFA claimed, “the message linked to this song is obviously sectarian”. The document detailing the case is available on p.15 HERE Absolutely no variation of this song is acceptable and Rangers will be punished if supporters continue to sing it in UEFA competition. This only ends one way. https://www.rangersnews.uk/news/case-of-linfield-v-uefa-must-act-as-a-warning-for-rogue-rangers-fans/
