Hopefully Morelos comes up against Broonaldo again in a couple of weeks. As has been mentioned by others if they insist on going with him current evidence suggests our midfield will run clean through them.

Yes I would agree he does indeed exude a more contented countenance right now and I hope he doesn't lose that scowl following a miss. And so far he appears to be behaving himself a statement which needs no explanation around here. Aside from the huge degrading of the squad the loss of Morelos would be i'm convinced he's going to have a stellar season and if so we really might get 20 million plus for him next summer. And putting aside the obvious financial benefit to the club I just want it to be a minimum 20 million when he goes after all the scoffing from certain quarters about our valuations of him. But Ideally I would like him to stay another two seasons. This season to win the league and next to give us the best chance of reaching the CL groups. He's unlikely to earn the club as much as that would though you never know. If the current form of Morelos and the team continues like this consistently the banter years are being totally and finally wiped out this season.

Played 20, won 11, drew 7, lost 2. 36 goals for 14 against Broke a quarter century old Walter Smith record by recording 11 consecutive European games without defeat. Quite remarkable for a youth team coach. I had my doubts when he came in but not now. Sure he got a budget but so did Pedro and got us nowhere. Gerrard appears to know how to build a winning team.

I think the chances of him departing in this window have greatly diminished. Everybody knows the EPL is what he wants and that particular option is now gone till January. And come January presuming we're in a title chase I don't want any key players being allowed to go. He's only 23 and he's contracted till 2023 so we hold all the aces. He can wait another year and if he can continue in this kind of form chances are he might get a step higher up the EPL ladder than he would right now. He's been getting better year upon year since he arrived but I truly think his development has kicked up a gear or two under Gerrard.

There's only one in the league anywhere near as good as Midtjylland and it's not the sheep. Judging from the evidence we currently have it's difficult to see how the SPL also rans will be able to live with us at Ibrox where we know we have real grass and a full sized pitch. Even if a few were having an off game the options on the bench are so in depth I have to think that coming to Ibrox is again a formidable proposition for these also rans. And aside from that the fans of the only real competitor are at this very moment soiling their panties at the thought of it.

Point proven. On the bright side this might be the end of their 6 consecutive seasons in Europe. I feel both the Edinburgh sides once they find their feet could edge them out this season. And they're the next on my list of those who are overdue a humiliating hammering after hubz got theirs.

Summary is we're now just 2 games away from another bite of the Europa pie. I think the majority view around here pre season was that two consecutive bites at that pie was perhaps a bridge too far. Well here we are again and I suspect the majority view now is that it's within our grasp to get there. If we do it I wont be so concerned about results there. Yes points make us even more money and boost the co-efficient but just getting there is a very welcome and much needed financial boost. But the league has to be the priority. I would rather lose in any Europa group match than 3 points to anybody at all on the Sunday. The league gives us a potential bite at the Champions League pie with £40 million up for grabs and perhaps up to another £10 million to be made from home games in the way of gate money etc. Plus getting there couldn't do our attractiveness to sponsors any harm.

I'm beginning to feel confident that we will always score against pretty much anybody we're likely to meet. Midtjylland are a very good team who just got unlucky they drew us and not a Cluj or Rijeka or something like that.

Morelos looks to be in real pain. I'm worried.

Kiddydale St opinion. Midtjylland are the worst Danish team the poster has ever seen and Cluj are miles better. Quickly tempered by another with the insertion of some actual reality. They're melting down over our results as well as their own.

Well that's that. Maybe time to shake it up a little. Like to see Aribo get a run since he might be dropped for Sunday.
