  1. I'm hearing that the owner has allegedly rejected a bid for the club today with the hammer about to fall tomorrow. Suspicions of skulduggery with suggestions that he's looking to sell to developers.
  2. https://www.footballinsider247.com/player-tells-friends-hes-desperate-to-join-rangers-as-multi-million-bid-ready-ibrox-sources/
  3. One of the Polish journalists was a bit cheeky, asking Gerrard if Morelos needs psychological help. Stevie of course simply ignored that. And I expect the Pole picked that up from the Scottish media.
  4. Yes he has been adamant. The evidence that convinces me has been widely circulating for months and is easily found. Even before the window opened it was well known he wanted to be at Rangers this season. I'm not sure if it's Rangers or Gerrard making him feel like that. Perhaps a bit of both. I expect a boy who joined the Liverpool academy at the age of 7 may have a hero worship syndrome when it comes to Steven Gerrard.
  5. This is shaping up to be one helluva game.
  6. Steven Gerrard knows exactly what's going on, i'm sure he is in regular communication with Kent. As for journos they simply pick up on rumours and/or put two and two together given the evidence. Kent is of no use to Liverpool playing under 23 football and has been pretty adamant that Rangers is his only desired destination.
  7. This seems plausible as I just can't see Liverpool being so vindictive as to potentially ruin the boys career. Rangers increasingly likely to sign Ryan Kent https://www.footballfancast.com/scottish-premier/rangers/rangers-could-make-breakthrough-with-loan-swoop-for-ryan-kent
  8. Sad to see such an old club on the verge of extinction. We know what it's like to be facing a potential extinction event. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/49414602
  9. Tricky and somewhat uncomfortable first question from I think a Pole. But the manager as usual handled it well.
  10. And the fact the manager is so eager to have him says a lot. I get the stats being rolled out but there's obviously a lot more to it than that. I trust the judgement of the manager regarding a young player he has already worked with over and above either mine or anybody else around here.

Love the WTF expression on that boys face.
  12. Yeah have to agree with that. The 'massive' 160K they have spent in this transfer window proves the point. In your face Peterhead.
  13. What I have been hearing is that for whatever reason the manager is desperate to land him. If that's the case I have to bow to his superior footballing knowledge.
  14. The "hysteria" has more to do with Rangers than Cluj. If we were struggling and clearly not fit to contend they would quickly get over this like they did last year. The hysteria is largely down to the fact that they're terrified about the upcoming visit to Ibrox while we're all looking forward to it.
  15. It's been obvious to everyone for months what Kent wants and surely Liverpool aren't going to effectively devalue him by forcing him to play under 23 football for a year. And personally i'm keen to have a player who is so clearly desperate to play for Rangers.
  16. No but presumably he too was breathing the same toxic gas.
  17. Reportedly scoring isn’t a Legia strong point. If we can prevent them scoring and even just come away with a 0-0 I would then feel confident we would have too much firepower for them at Ibrox. I think it’s in our interests for the yahoos to go through as well but hopefully a scraped result to keep their heads down.
  18. If we sweep them aside in a manner similar to that which the Danes were dispatched I’m going to start wondering exactly how good this team is and I believe it can still get even better. A couple of good dominant performances against Legia would also see the yahoo hordes slipping ever further into extreme trepidation about their turn at Ibrox.
  19. The pending admin fantasies are cranking up right now because they feel a real fear that hasn’t existed in sometime. If we beat St Mirren then them at Ibrox to put a little space between us and them even this early the meltdown will crank up several more notches.
  20. He can put them away with his first touch in the right circumstances. I’m still amazed and grateful we have him.
  21. In April 2011, Defoe became the 20th player to score a century of Premier League goals, and is currently the seventh-highest goalscorer in Premier League history.
  22. I get the feeling that Defoe might do a good job for us for at least another couple of seasons. He's going to be 37 in October but isn't your average footballer. This is a man who could be held up as an example of the ultimate professional to our younger players such as Aribo. I heard recently that he hasn't smoked or touched a drop of alcohol in his life while training and eating as an athlete should for the past 20 years. I would like him to stay in a coaching capacity when the time to hang up his boots does come.
  23. And of course if we had been drawn at Ibrox against the only non SPL team left in it there would have been screams of fix and masonic conspiracy.
