Brian Laudrup in any capacity is a good thing. I'd rather he came in a coaching capacity though!

Perhaps in the summer while on trial Stella showed up well but once signed he failed to settle and guys like McKay, Naismith, Aird and Crawford all performed better and more consistently.

I seen that over on FF last night. Is it applicable and are the club aware of it? One would have thought the SFL would have been aware of their own rulebook but hey, the SPL weren't.

I think The Sun also say the young Aussie keeper won't be coming on trial either.

Any likliehood Gallagher will get a call up to the first team soon? He's scoring goals regularly and appears to be the type of striker we're lacking in the first team.

He must have had some ability to secure a move to Serie A (Siena). His youtube footage suggests he is right footed (a lá Templeton) so could quite easily fill in on the left of midfield. However, he hasn't even managed a place on the bench yet so a starting slot seems unlikely.

With the exclusion of Laudrup, Davie Cooper was the most skillfull player I've ever seen in a Rangers jersey. There are too many goals to mention but my favourite was at Tynecastle when he collected the ball on the half way line and dribbled right down the left wing before cutting inside to score - noone could get near him.

If it's just £100k then it should happen. However, we may get agreement to talk to the platyers late in the day only for them to knock back Div 3. Both are just 23 and although they could have a very successful career with us I wonder if they'll see Div 3 as a good move at this stage of their careers.

Owen is a busted flush and there is no way on this earth he'll land in Div 3 for us. His hamstrings are made of glass and he'd be better of joining a championship side. I wouldn't be surprised if the mhanks tried to get him though.

It's all gone very quiet on the Gomis front which is disappointing as a central midfield of Black and Gomis would be good. Signing Larsson would be a major coup. At least with Templeton we recognise the need for width, pace and trickery but if we don't get him is there an alternative? Paterson is a right sided fullback from Hearts. Only 17 (I think) and just the 3 outings for them.

Bell is only 25, has 1 Scotland cap and his contract at Killie expires next summer. NB, Bell is out at the moment with a broken wrist. 30 year old attacking midfielder / striker recently released by Wolfsburg. On his game he is a very good player but I fear he hasn't been on form a whole lot in recent years. However, if it is true he would be a sensational signing for Div 3.

Those players could really have been nailing down a first team spot with us rather than going on to become bit part players for much, much smaller clubs.
