I wouldn't put much faith in this. Is that the same João Havelange that was charged with bribes, embezzlement and had reportedly amassed $50 million or more in bribes through his roles in Olympic Committee and FIFA - even Sepp Blatter wanted to strip him of his honorary presidency but at 90 Havelange was let off charges as he paid back some money and cited ill health. He lived till he was 100. Blatter learned all his tricks from Havelange.

The stats are take it or leave it, i look at some but usually come away from a game with memories of a particular bit of skill or fantastic goal or even a terrible mistake and i wouldn't necessarily dig into the stats other than the usual possession, corners, shots on target etc but appreciate they can be useful.

You will not find many better Rangers advocates than DJ. I met him once at Chelsea when i was a teenager, he had just signed and i got his autograph and he spent a while just chatting with those that had turned out to see him sign.
