Was carrying on debate/comment from the preview writers thread but thought i'd move this to a new thread so as not to fill up that thread with my nonsense.

My preview got us off to a good start this month. Lol As I previously suggested, if we really are to reap the benefit of an excellent run through December and the New year fixtures where we beat all of our closest title challengers except Celtic (with whom we drew), then we need to attain maximum points across an "easier" run of games. 3 hard won points against Accies today, with Celtic dropping 2 more points. :spl: If we can take maximum points from the 3 remaining league fixtures in January (and dispose of Accies in the cup Tuesday) we will be positively flying.

Who cares now. 1-1.

The glossy �£5 merchandise has been knocked down to just �£3 in the shops in the wake of a Parkhead player exodus. This month's sales of Gary Caldwell, Barry Robson, Willo Flood and Chris Killen mean it's ALREADY out of date - barely a fortnight into January. Well he didn't make me eat my words today. I guess the argument about a run in his preferred position still holds. Miller back for Tuesday night. Maybe a couple of games beside Miller will bring a player out of him? Personally I think Novo has done more to start but Smith generally prefers to play Lafferty and perhaps a combination of height and strength (I know, I know) with pace is better than two pacy, hard working players?

Agree with Ascender, putting money over their career by the sound of it. And staying a few seasons and establishing themselves as first picks in a Champions League team might actually lead to more money in the long term.

It's clear rbr has some inside information suggesting Boyd will sign and that the RST have in some way helped facilitate a move by new buyers for the club. What it is he does know, who can say.
