At times like this I just want Chick to fuck off!

Only just saw your comment Frankie. Unfortunately our media has no interest in common sense and reasoned debate. They have proved time and again that they are only concerned with demonising Rangers Football Club. Sad state of affairs. If that was not true then Billy Reid would not get away with the massive hypocrisy I have highlighted.

I was just joking too mate. Kinda understand the stick.

It's not hoops. It's horizontal stripes And it was blue n white!

Do you want that raving loony from the Fiorentina game going absolutely apeshit at winning a corner of all things sitting next to you though Frankie and Ian?

I'd love to get back. Missed not having my ST last year (still got to Manchester) but had to give it up for work/uni. I'm thinking about it, but can't guarantee i'll be in Glasgow for the remainder of the year.

Read Billy Reid's comments on the BBC. Players should play for the country of their birth. Would this be the same Reid who manages McCarthy, born in Scotland, plays for ROI. Reminds me of another overrated turncoat scumbag.

How much would it be? Prob shouldn't waste my gambling winnings on this though.

Guilty as charged.

Scooter, I only use bet365 (hardcore gamblers who really no their stuff no doubt have numerous accounts for best odds) and imo the stats they offer when selecting your bets are highly informative. You get form, league tables, results against this weeks opposition, away form, home form league tables that take into account only home or away games. If you prepared to spend the time you can really research your bets. Still a mugs game, but honestly I am definitely well up (well what I consider well up) over my short gambling career. I also use BBC to look at tables, recent results, team/injury news. Basically the more info you can get the more informed your betting is. Whilst it is still luck, I do believe if you do your "homework" then football gambling has an element of skill that isn't there for my mates who regularly win and lose big at the casinos. Still comes down to luck and Beattie will quite rightly tell you it's all geared in the bookies favour. However if you're sensible you can try and turn things more in your favour. I occasionally look at bettingzone.co.uk for their tips, but over the last year or so I have put a lot less faith in their bets as they seem to go chasing the "good odds" or "value bets" where you can potentially win a lot for little out lay. I would rather win a little with "less risk" than lose a lot chasing what I consider dodgy bets. In short though, just because I tend to end up "up" I still wouldn't reccomend (sp) it. :D

Thanks Craig. Sorry if I seem like a gloating c unt Beattie, but only came on to post this and if you'd seen my bets for the rest of the season you'd agree I was due some luck. Look back a few posts of mine in this thread with the Elgin - Stenny one being a prime example. My winnings on Tues only just covered my losses the rest of the season, and yet I gambled it again on Weds. Been a bit mental with the bets, but my view was I never had it in the first place so why not go for it? Withdrew £500, gonna gamble the rest :L Why not. Even if i lose the rest, £500 for predicting footy results. Its been like 1/2 hours work 2 "earn" that. Though it's not really work cz I love reading about football, looking at form etc and picking coupons. I'm a little sad really. :L :L :L

Tues deposit £5 in bet365 account. Bet on 5 fold acc.: Lyon, Arsenal, Birmingham, Reading, Leeds. Bet winnings on Weds treble: Chelsea, Barca, Inter. Bet winnings on Thurs reble: Hamburg, AC, Sevilla. Just shy of £1000 up. Hadn't had a winner til Tues! Mad dash at FT to get to offy by 10 to purchase some Malt Whisky to celebrate. I love mid-week footy.

Probably Gav. I tend to find they drop points when they least expect it and not when you fancy an upset. So probably best to prepare myself for a Celtic win.

Lets hope he takes out his frustrations on Strachan

2 in 2 nights Starting to make up for all the crap luck i've had this season. Inter, Chelsea, Barca tonight.

Fucking useless Elgin getting a victory, coming from behind, against top of the table Stenhousemuir cost me on Saturday First winner of the season: Arsenal Lyon Reading Birmingham Leeds Winnings just cover the rest of my losses for this season Now to actually be more than a fiver up!
-
Mac I have heard that. However I have heard other stories as to how they will even the playing field for our group. For once I'm not actually sure what the correct story is, but that scenario makes most sense. However with the nature of our group, everyone bar Holland taking points off each other it's gonna be a struggle to make a play-off place.

Aye, was just pointing out i'm of the same mind as Wija. Such a naive attitude to expect fans to support their greatest rivals in any game.

Na Jon get em well pumped every time

BD i've read he's top scorer in the reserves with 7. Played well today and some are touting him for a spot on the bench ahead of the likes of JCD/Velicka. Second hand info tho, i've not seen him.

Good to see Fergie get a decent run out then. Stevie Smith too Papac has gone from strength to strength, but Smith was like a left sided Alan Hutton before his injury and before Hutton really began performing again. How Fergie was being considered for the Hamilton game when as far as I was aware he was always to play about an hour in this game is beyond me. I think he needs much more than an hour of a reserve match before being considered for the first team. Tbh I would not even consider him for ICT but fully expect him to be on the bench this weekend.
