Terrible news. If we want to keep the same balance and shape to the team then Edu would be the obvious replacement. However, with Smith wanting to get Fergie back into the team, it makes his decision on who misses out much much simpler, though will mean a change in our style of play surely. I cannot imagine Mendes nor Fergie playing in a Thomson like manner. We might have more going forward but will likely be a little more vulnerable without the ball.

Going off on a tangent, watched the highlights on BBC there. Didn't hear this watching it at the time, but that's 12 goals in 11 games against killie apparently. They must hate him

Back after xmas - the 27th Frankie?

I'm more inclined to agree with Frankie if Burley goes about it the right way. However I could see the press and some fans twisting it and saying it is a sign of weakness. Having a bit of humility though is not necessarily a bad thing.

Never heard Butcher's comments, but he's clearly talking shite.

Sounds good Frankie

Think he epitomises the term more than anyone else I can think of. Cult Hero - Not necessarily the most gifted player, but loved by the fans for his on and off the field contribution.

Surgery for Borat? I was expecting him to be getting a gastric band fitted.

Ah the infamous Mr Dingwall. Don't know if I have this all wrong, (feel free to delete admin) but thought that MD had a meeting with Murray after which FF became highly censored with regards to talking about Murray to the point that I and I assume many other have no idea what occurred and MD was slated by a few for "sucking up to Murray". Also thought he was largely to blame for the demise of the RST that could have continued with it's enormous successes and maybe got a fan on the board if MD had not tried to engineer it so it was he that got the board position. As I say apologies if any of this is anyway accurate, but with the censorship of FF and talking about Murray/RST it was extemely difficult to find out what occurred.

Hope they get pumped out with no more points.

Sorry Tannoch, but "MD"?

Marseille's £3mil bid was news to me, though now appears to be common knowledge on the net. I'm all for us getting decent players in, getting a good season or two out of them and selling them at a profit. If we can copy the ajax system where they always bring a replacement of similar ability and repeat. It's the only way to compete/survive in the smaller leagues where you cannot demand the enormous t.v. money. It alos relies on the club management/scouts to spot a replacement or bring one through from the reserves. However, only if we can maintain success whilst doing this and it is a hard thing to balance with the lack of consistency in the squad. It is though getting frustrating that a player only needs have 2-3 good months and we're already preparing to flog them. As Madjid cost £2.5 mil I reckon a bid of around £4-5mil could see him leave. Would anyone bid that for him though when we paid considerably less just a few months previously.

The Govan side linesman's arm did seem to be springloaded, every time we attacked his arm went up. However I was in the Copland and couldn't tell if it was poor officiating or poor forward play?

Hard to pick anyone from that lot tbh. Davis did seem to be involved a lot I guess. -

I'm not as eloquent as some of the other regular contributors, but sometimes it's better that way. -

I understand what you are saying Pete, but strictly speaking once Miller is past him he is behind the ball and therefore onside. It's bullshit but that's the rule. -
Anyone used this website? Cult hero/zero t-shirts, similar to the ones you see being sold outside Ibrox, but you can pick the player picture and slogan.
