Lol, I think i'm getting the hang of it. Just needs a little mroe thought for the decimals as i'm less used to it, though would be much quicker in the long run.
-
Aye realised my mistake, was thining 3/1 there rather than 1/3, I think.
-
Weirdly i've actually said to my wee brother decimals looks easier, it jsut doesn't quite compute in my head. If I look at a team and they're 1/3 I understand how much of a risk that is on my accumulator. Would that be 4.00 in decimals? That just wouldn't make sense when I had a whole list of them. Don't really know why?

There are definite and tangible signs of improvement. The problem is, aside from Kaunas, we're behind in the league again. Football fans are fickle and if we can regain top spot then al we be rosy in our garden again.

Excellent news about NBM. As Barry says. Party time. I would be disgusted if public money was donated to this one sided cause that merely seeks to heighten bigotry.

Cheers guys, that's basically how I worked it out by hand, just figured having a tool to do it for you would be easier Prefer to work in fractions too. Don't know why, but don't really understand what i'm looking at when I see decimal odds, i.e in terms if how strong a favourite a team is according to the bookies. My wee brother prefers decimals though, reckons it's easier.

Good good, is there a website that will allow you to put in odds like this, as obviously working it out after the game I could no longer make the selections on my online account and whilst working it out for a treble was not exactly time consuming I have on occassion wanted to do it for a larger number of selctions? I guess it's hardly the end of the world, but still a bit pissed. I could still get drunk on that money  I mean enjoy a night out

Forgot to put my bet on tonight: Bayern (2/9) Real (4/9) Mk Dons (2/5) Also was thinking about Birmingham (4/6) and Leicester (1/3). But if I'm being honest would probably have stuck with the treble (though maybe not I get carried away when actually placing the bet). In any case all 5 won, but what would that treble have returned had I staked a tenner on it? Worked it out to be roughly £24.70 but not sure if i've worked it out right? Cheers guys.

Terribble news.

The problem is that we don't have a decent option for LM in all honesty. Of our options, what we need to decide is who is least crap. That's my honest assessment of our LM options. Depending on if he's needed elsewher (e.g covering Davis at RM) I think Novo is arguably our best option, followed by Adam. McCulloch looks to now be CB back up and Beasley does not deserve to be anywhere near the team atm. If we had an Albertz or a Gio for left mid then Adam, wouldn't get a look in. Truth is, in the current squad, he's one of the better bets.

I too am worried about tonight. Best chance for Celtic to end their pitiful away record since they've been involved in the CL. Aalborg sold a number of their best players after winning the league title last year. They had a new manager, replaced by Rioch I believe, who was sacked himself following poor results. When they first played Celtic they were about 10th in their 12 team league. They had a creditible draw with Villarreal and scored 3 at el Madrigal against what is one of Europe's strongest backlines. They are a very weak side though, and despite Celtic's recent run of results owing a large part to terrible officiating in this country it still sends them into the tie with a lot of confidence.

A guy got a straight red in the prem a week or 2 ago for a similar incident, although in that one it looked more like an acident and a natural movement of the arm to shield the ball. Cannot remember the game or players though.

Don't know if the rumour was posted here. Perhaps not helping to repeat it; but apparently Gow had a training ground bust up with McDowall and that's why he never got a shot. Take with a pinch of salt though.

Just 2 teams out of how many professional clubs in the UK?
-
Bougherra will be the biggest boost if he returns imo. Assume Boyd will be ok. Think we can cope without Sasa and Miller, though would be preferable if they were available obviously. Doesn't really clear up the Davis situation. Not asking what exactly is going on as it obviously concerns his wife and newborn. I merely mean it is not clear if things are going well in that respect and that'll he be available this weekend.
-
Not sure what I make of that. It's suggesting that we're all just a victim of poor officiating, yet there is only really one team regularly benefitting. The number of pro-celtic, anti-Rangers decisions is far, far in excess of 5.
-
No they're not Dan.

Sorry if I took that too far Jon, just a bit annoyed by this all. Attacking without even a small understanding of the circumstances.
-
Not really a fair comparison carl, different game now to what it once was.

This whole thread smacks of consiparacy theories and nonsense. Slagging Walter left right and centre whilst admitting you do not know why he's not getting a game. Whilst I too admittedly have not been to reserve games, general consensus from fans who have attended reserve games is that he has been very poor so far and currently the likes of Loy and Fleck woudl be ahead of him. And before people start on Smith saying if he's that bad and using it as another reason to attack the manager, there may be plenty of reasons for hsi lack of form. One I know of is that he did not complete a proper pre-season and another may be the difficulties in adapting to another culture, climate and style of football, especially for a young boy abraod (and yes I am aware he went on loan to Greece).

I thought you were fishing until I saw your later comments. Might look good as a shot stopper in the powderpuff dutch league, would be even more of a joke in Scotland if he struggles with the physicality and high balls of the EPL. Horses for courses, lets not make some PLG-esque signings.

Chick isn't half quick to rub it in!

Saints the better team today.

Agreed, firstly dangerous tackle, secondly denying a clear goalscoring opportunity
