  1. This was the original squad according to the BBC: Obviously Miller, D Fletcher, S Fletcher, Gordon, McCormack and Morrison have dropped out with just Robertson (Dundee Utd) and Miller (Aberdeen) called up. So who would you start, and if you're really adventurous you can try and guess who Burley will pick. I think he'll go for: McGregor Broadfoot McManus Caldwell Naysmith Brown Ferguson Hartley Robson Iwelumo McFadden Not exactly inspiring is it? Could do with a decent CB in there. A new LB is needed. Burley insisted on playing basically the entire Celtic midfield in the next game after they got destroyed at Parkhead by our midfield. Having a fit Thomson in beside to beef up the midfield would've been nice. We could drop Hartley then, who is hopeless. Oh to have Kris Boyd upfront. But have no fear, Iwelumo is available. He may well play with 5 in midfield though, drop Iwelumo and put Maloney wide left with Robson playing more centrally.
  2. That is shocking. Is it not in their interests as well as ours to promote our gear and this deal
  3. I already feel like judas Miller just for applying  Didn't even get to the interview stage when I applied to Spurs earlier this year so wont hold my breath, but you've got to be in it to win it. Closing date is actually a week Wednesday so hopefully hear something the following week. Though i'm praying Crystal Palace have tied me down to a contract by then. Ha ha I like your idea Craig, as I say I could be the next McDowall.
  4. I meant to post this at the weekend but forgot. With Celtic's reluctance to actually investigate the numerous missile throwing incidents at the Piggery, think Ricksen and the lighter thrower that was never identified by the cctv at the ground, is this the way for opposition players, staff and officials to deal with them?
  5. 14 gisabeer!
  6. Just applied. Closing date is Friday but already wrote an application for the same sort of role at Crystal Palace. Quick change of names and dates and job's a good'un. Rather end up at Murray Park Beattie. Put Adam Owen out of a job
  7. Craig, BD, your not the only ones. Hemdani cannot play CB, at least not in Scotland.
  8. THe good thing about being back home for now is i'm not missing any sport or having to go down the pub and spend £20-30 on beer. Not really seen much dutch football this season but was a decent game to watch, a lot of needle but the ref was very sensible. As I say Suarez caught the eye but there were a few decent players. I think stikers need to be a bit greedy but from what you say Suarez takes it to extremes.
  9. Anyone watch this? Saw it from just before the PSV equaliser. Ended up 4-1 Ajax. From what I saw of the game, Suarez of Ajax really caught they eye. Looks an awesome player.
  10. According to the BBC gossip column. Would be a cracking loan signing. Would SAF let him go though and would he get a game under Smith?
  11. Non-penalty awarded v Hamilton to equalise today. Can someone go through this thread and work our how many they've gained and we've lost. See just how far ahead we'd be?
  12. They got another non-penalty the other week that Hartley missed. Justice done that time. How many points have they gained and we lost thanks to referees this year? It's not good enough to just say ref's make mistakes when it is always going in one teams favour.
  13. Early doors. Sure the ****s will come back. Hopeully they can hold on for at least a draw.
  14. Why no mention of Celtic fans and sectarian attack
  15. True mate. Being a bit presumptuous (sp) that I'll just get the job anyway. Have to go into work every day with full Rangers kit on underneath my clothes
  16. Lol, espionage and sabotage
  17. Dunno mate. Always said if I'd been good enough to play for them and they offered me a contract i'd knock it back. If Celtic would sign you, at the very worst so would a Dundee United or a Hearts. But the field i'm in is very competitive, there's fuck all jobs about and of course there's a recession on. Perhaps I need to grow up and not be so "childish". Do a Kenny McDowall I'll apply for it anyway and not worry about whether or not i'll take it now. As I might be worrying about nothing, might not even get an interview. God i' immature though eh?
  18. Celtic are advertising for a sports scientist/strength and conditioning coach to work in their academy. The job description does not look to be particularly demanding; a sports science or related degree and practical experience in football desired. I spent 4 years at Glasgow University gaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiology and Sports Science. I also undertook various work experience opportunities with smaller football clubs (Aberdeen, Q.o.S) and in various other sports. I then went to Edinburgh Uni and gained a MSc in Strength and Conditioning and was employed via Stirling University to work as a Strength and Conditioning Coach in Falkirk FC's academy last year and into this season. I also recently began work with the SRU in a similar role although had to give them up moving home It's a competitive field and I've had rejections for similar roles, however why couldn't it be Rangers looking!
  19. Sorry mate. Would've been typical SPL though a very pro-Celtic or anti-Rangers panel.
  20. Sorry Craig was taking the piss, hence the "devil" smiley. Calderwood, Smith, McGhee, Levein, Strachan and Hughes.
  21. Strachan, McGhee, Levein, Jeffries, Hughes, Reid <<<<<<<<<<<< That's why
  22. The fiver comment was a bit tongue in cheek, but would take any serious bid for him. We're not in Europe this year and as Hemdani has shown we can't afford a "European specialist" eating up our wages.
  23. That's how it should be, bears helping each other out and getting mutual beenfit. Will definitely benefit gersnet as most of us, like you, can't make the youth games. So we can learn about which of the youngster have a chance of making the grade. As you should benefit Elfideldo too with increased exposure to his site.
